Neehr Perfect Guide: Installing the Citrix Plugin Overview This guide covers how to install the Citrix plugin. The first time you log in to Neehr Perfect on any computer, you will be prompted to install the Citrix Plugin for your web browser. The installation process varies by browser, and instructions for Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Apple Safari are described below. Internet Explorer 1. Accept the Citrix license agreement and select Install. 2. The following Security Warning will appear. Select Run. 2
3. Once the download is complete, select Run. 4. You will be presented with a User Account Control prompt. Select Yes to install Citrix Receiver. 3
5. When installation is complete, select Finish. 6. Your school s EHR icon should now appear. Select it to launch. 4
Microsoft Edge 1. Accept the Citrix license agreement and select Install. 2. When you see the prompt at the bottom of your screen, select Save. 3. When the download is finished, select Run. 5
4. When prompted by Citrix Receiver, select Start and let the install complete. 5. When complete, select Finish. 6
6. Your school s EHR icon should now appear. Select it to launch. Mozilla Firefox 1. Accept the Citrix license agreement and select Install. 7
2. The following window will appear. Select Save File. Choose to save the file to a location where you ll remember (i.e. your Desktop). 3. After the download is complete, click the icon in your Firefox Downloads window. Or, if you cannot locate the Downloads window, go to the location where you saved the file in the previous step. 4. Select Start to begin installation. Wait until you receive a notification that it is complete. 8
5. When installation is complete, select Finish. 9
6. Your school s EHR icon should now be visible. Select it to launch. See page 16 under Troubleshooting and Help for additional steps for Firefox users. Google Chrome 1. Accept the Citrix license agreement and select Install. 2. After the.exe file has finished downloading, select it to begin the installation process. 10
3. A User Account Control message may appear. Select Yes to allow the following program to make changes to the computer. 11
4. Proceed with the rest of the installation wizard. When finished, select Continue. 5. Your school s EHR icon should now be visible. Select it to launch. 12
Apple Safari (Mac only) 1. Select Install to begin the process. 2. Once the download is complete, open your downloads folder and double click on Citrix online plug-in (web).dmg 13
3. Once the file opens, select Install Citrix Receiver and click Start. Follow the prompts and put in your password to finish installation. 14
4. The following window will appear. Select Finish, you do not need to add account. 5. Return to your Safari window and select Continue. 15
6. Your school s EHR icon should now be visible. Select it to launch. 7. If the EHR does not launch, follow these additional steps. a. Click on Safari->Preferences->Security->Plug-in Settings b. Select Citrix Receiver, and in the window next to apps.neehrperfect.com change the selection from Ask to On. c. Select Done d. Launch the EHR Troubleshooting and Help Additional steps for Firefox users Step One: After downloading the plug-in and selecting Continue, you will be brought to the EHR launch screen. You will select your EHR. See Figure 1 below. 16
Figure 1 Step Two: After selecting your EHR, you will click on the plug-in icon located in the upper left corner of your screen. See Figure 2 below. Figure 2 Step Three: After clicking on the plug-in icon you will select Allow and Remember. Note: You only need to complete this step one time; Firefox will automatically remember your settings from now on. See Figure 3 below. 17

How to remove the Click Install to access your applications dialog box As you may have noticed, even after installing the Citrix receiver you will still see this dialog box: To stop receiving this message every time you launch your EHR, select the Skip to Log on link as shown below. 19
Your EHR icon will appear as normal. Select Messages. Select Click here to confirm you have a client 20
Message shows Your settings have been saved. You will no longer see the screen below when you log in. You will be brought right to the EHR. 21
