Installing and Setting Up Ever Accountable Content: Steps Involved To Install On Android Installing Ever Accountable on your device Signing up for an Ever Accountable account Adjusting the settings to Weatec requirement Installing Ever Accountable is fairly straight forward and very similar to other Android apps. The only step that is Weatec specific is Step 3 in these instructions. Have you completed your Weatec Enrollment Form? If not, contact your Weatec Member Relations Committee member or Weatec deacon before configuring Ever Accountable. See page 27 of Weatec Guidelines to find out who is covering your area. It is important to have a Weatec approved filter installed and configured before installing and using Ever Accountable. Android Step 1: 1: a. 1: b. Installing Ever Accountable On Your Device a. Start by going to the Play Store and searching for Ever Accountable or scan the QR code below. 1: b. b. Choose the Ever Accountable app and then tap on install. c. Ever Accountable needs access to device features tap accept. 1: c. 2: b. Step 2: Signing up for an Ever Accountable account a. Open the newly installed app. b. If this is your first device, you will want to tap the Sign Up button 2
2: e. c. Enter your full name and email address.!! Note: Please use alphanumeric characters only for your name (that is only letters and numbers for your name). Do not use special symbol characters like &,,(,+,# etc. as they do not work with the Weatec system. 2: e. d. Ever Accountable will email you a confirmation code e. Enter the code and tap next. (We will take care of setting up accountability partners in step 3. First take care of activating Ever accountable.) 2: f. f. At the top of the app window tap on the message: Ever Accountable needs to be activated message. Read the messages and follow the prompts on the screen to give the app administrator privileges. 2: f. 3
2: g. g. You may see a second message as follows: Ever Accountable is only partially activated. Again, tap on the message to enable monitoring. Read the messages and follow the prompts on the screen to give the app administrator privileges. h. The app will take you directly to the accessibility screen for Ever Accountable. Toggle the switch to on at the top of the settings page. (See highlight in screen shot. ) 2: g. 2: h. 2: h. 4
Step 3: Adjusting The Settings To Weatec Requirement 3: b. a. Follow the prompts to set up accountability partners. b. Partner #1 needs to be set to report@weatec.com. The other two partners are generally not used. Tap continue, you should see a message: Added report@weatec.com to your accountability partners. c. Tap on take me to my account d. Tap the blue and white menu icon. e. On the slide in menu tap devices f. Under List of active devices you should see your device listed. The default device name is usually not very descriptive. Weatec will be using this device name when referencing issues with the Weatec account. Tap change beside the listed device name. g. Change the name to something descriptive. (example John Smith Primary Tablet ) And then tap save.!! Note: Please use alphanumeric characters only for your device names (that is only letters and numbers for your names). Check to make sure the green active message is showing on the Account Details/Home Page of the app. i.
