XenMobile MDX Toolkit 10.x Fixed Issues MDX Toolkit 10.3.9 If users have WorxWeb open in the background and use an unwrapped app that passes data to WorxWeb, such as Google Chrome, and the device loses Internet connectivity or switches from WiFi data to cellular data, WorxWeb loses its VPN connection until users open WorxWeb again. [#632529] If users attempt to use their website to send an APNS notification to a third-party app wrapped using the MDX Toolkit, the notification fails to reach the device. [#640688] Wrapping a custom ios app using the MDX Toolkit causes the app to crash when users open the app. [#645314] If users use the MDX Toolkit to wrap an app that uses NSURLRequest as part of its API then opens the app in secure browse mode, the app times out after 15 seconds. [#647096] After wrapping a custom app using the MDX Toolkit and opening the app, the app appears to open, but stays on the initial screen before going into the background. [#647981] If the MDX policy for split tunneling is turned ON or Reverse and no intranet applications are enabled, the connection fails. [#651016] MDX Toolkit 10.3.5 If users attempt to use their website to send an APNS notification to a third-party app wrapped using the MDX Toolkit, the notification fails to reach the device. [#647096]

After wrapping a custom app using the MDX Toolkit and opening the app, the app appears to open, but stays on the initial screen before going into the background. [#647981] If the MDX policy for split tunneling is turned ON or Reverse and no intranet applications are enabled, the connection fails. [#651016] MDX Toolkit 10.3 When encryption is enabled and full VPN is required, users cannot log onto a wrapped app on Android devices. [#553805] When using a wrapped custom mail application, when users try to generate a new email message, the Block SMS policy is enforced. [#569673] When wrapping the OfficeSuite app for Android, wrapping fails. [#578547] When an attachment is previewed for more than 5 seconds using the wrapped app IBM Verse for ios, it might fail to open in or transfer to other MDX apps. [#585755] The MDX policies for inbound or outbound URLs to open another application through WorxWeb might not work as expected when the application is wrapped. [#586244] When the Lido/mPilot app is wrapped with MDX Toolkit 10.0.7, it might stop unexpectedly immediately after launching on ipad devices. [#589227] In WorxMail for ios, when users upgrade the Webex app, the meeting body of the Webex meeting is altered and issues occur with the Join Meeting button and other features. [#592579] A third-party application wrapped with MDX Toolkit 10.2.x can fail to connect to an internal site on ios 9 device. [#595574] On occasion, a third-party application wrapped with the MDX Toolkit 10.2.x closes unexpectedly after entering credentials, affecting ios 9 users. [#596229] When trying to wrap a third-party app for ios, wrapping fails. [#596561]

With the policy, Network Access=Tunneled to Internal and Preferred VPN Mode=Secure Browse enabled, attempts in WorxWeb for ios to open a PDF file located on an intranet can fail. The issue occurs when the filename of the PDF contains blank spaces. With this fix, the spaces in the URL are encoded properly so that the file opens successfully. [#597009] This release extends the SHTP time-out from 10 seconds to 60 seconds. [#597272] When an app is wrapped with the MDX Toolkit version 10.2 for ios 9.x devices, a DNS resolution error occurs. [#597330] After wrapping a custom app with the MDX Toolkit 10.3, when users attempt to open the app on ios 9, the app crashes. [#597733] This fix addresses an issue that prevents a custom application from communicating with the backend after being wrapped with Version 10.2.1 of the MDX Toolkit. [#598414] Wrapped apps do not appear in the Open In list if the Document exchange policy is set to Restricted. [#599522] Xamarin-developed MDX apps that are wrapped with the MDX Toolkit 10.2 for ios fail when users try to install the apss from the Worx Store. [#599661] After users upgrade to ios 9.x, a third-party app crashes when users open the app. [#601882] Wrapped Connections for Citrix app on ios devices fail when users open the app, log on on to Greenhouse, and then log off and log on to the Connection app again. [#602544] On Android devices, when you configure a Restrictions policy to block screen captures, the policy is not enforced on wrapped IBM apps, such as Verse. [#602760] Custom enterprise apps wrapped with the MDX Toolkit 10.2.1 fail to start on ios 9 devices. [#604236] Attempts to download APK apps from Worx Home to Android devices fail. Worx Home downloads the APK app as an MDX app even though the MDX Toolkit is not used to wrap the app. [#606063]

Users may experience connectivity issues to internal resources with wrapped MDX apps when you deploy the apps through XenMobile 9 with certificate pinning enabled. [#606532] On Android devices, when users run wrapped custom app that requires a video from the internal network to play using a native media player, the app crashes. The issue does not occur if the device is connected to the corporate WiFi. As a workaround, you can set full VPN mode for the app to enable network traffic to access the internal network, including the video content. [#609098] On ios 9 devices, when users open a wrapped MicroStrategy app, in about 5 seconds, a black screen appears. [#611232] When you have client certificate authentication configured, on ios devices, after enrolling successfully in Worx Home, enrollment eventually fails. At that time, users are prompted for their credentials again. [#613082] MDX Toolkit 10.2.1 The Worx App SDK does not support append mode for various ios file operations. This can cause crashes in some wrapped third-party apps. [#508704] Attempts to open apps directly from the device, instead of from Worx Home, fail after users enter their personal identification number (PIN). [#523807] On Samsung devices with version 4.3 and later, the restriction policy for the camera fails. [#553502] When the Block camera policy is On, tapping the camera icon can crash a wrapped ios app. [#565232] Some third-party wrapped apps do not sync data in full VPN mode. [#569425] The Worx App SDK is missing a required framework, JavascriptCore.framework.

[#570154] In third-party apps developed using Xamarin and wrapped with MDX Toolkit 10.0.7.106, connections to internal endpoints time out. [#576671] After wrapping apps with MDX Toolkit version 10.0.5.1, apps started from the App Drawer or springboard do not make a VPN connection. [#577134] Opening a customized Android app shows an error when invoking sendorderedbroadcast(). [#579639] Third-party wrapped apps can crash in the MDX-redirected keychain call SecItemCopyMatching(). [#579685] When starting the most recent update of a custom application that is wrapped with MDX Toolkit version 10.0.5 or 10.0.7, the application exits unexpectedly. [#581857] App content remains visible on ios 9 devices after the maximum offline period expires for a wrapped app and the "Please sign on to Worx Home" message appears. [#586242] URLs specified for the App URL schemes policy are not included when an ios app is wrapped. [#586704] Third-party wrapped apps can crash when opened after first-time use. [#586715] MDX Toolkit 10.0.7 1. When upgrading the MDX Toolkit to the latest build, after generating Worx apps logs, an earlier version of the build appears in the log file.

[#511585] 2. On an Android 5.0 device with WorxNotes installed, after users exceed the allowed number of Worx PIN tries and then reset their PIN, a confirmation message appears stating that the WorxNotes app data is wiped. However, the users can access WorxNotes without reconfiguring it. [#521298] 3. Some TCP connection requests are directed to NetScaler Gateway when the Network access policy is set to Unrestricted. As a result communications from MDX-wrapped apps to URLs fail. [#537790] 4. When users open WorxMail for Windows Phone from the springboard, they cannot go past the account configuration page. This issue occurs when the Online session required policy is On and Secure Ticket Authority (STA) is enabled on NetScaler Gateway. As a workaround, disable one of those settings. [#539041] 5. MDX-wrapped apps sometimes crash while a user is reading email. [#547519]

MDX Toolkit 10.0.3 1. On an ipod Touch, users cannot open PDFs or documents with Worx apps when the Open In policy is Restricted or Unrestricted. [#508731] 2. Single sign-on from a ShareFile Worx client can fail. [#510727] 3. From WorxWeb on an Android device, using a custom port number in a URL to access an HTTP intranet website causes WorxWeb to prompt for user credentials to the site. Single signon does not support custom ports. [#520844] 4. On an Android 5.0 device with WorxNotes installed, if users exceed the allowed number of Worx PIN tries, after they follow the steps to reset their PIN, a confirmation message appears stating that the WorxNotes app data is wiped. However, users can access WorxNotes when instead they should be required to reconfigure WorxNotes. [#521298] 5. You cannot add an email acccount to an MDX-wrapped app for Android. [#522355] 6. After you wrap an app with the MDX Toolkit for ios, the installed app opens the first time, but not subsequently. [#531020] 7. ShareFile Worx for ios blocks users from opening a ShareFile Connector location in WorxMail. [#531133] 8. A user can add external attachments to a mail in WorxMail for ios even when the Inbound document exchange (Open In) policy is set to Restricted. [#532079] 9. MDX-wrapped apps do not start on a non-english Android device. [#535232]

10. If WorxMail and WorxNotes for ios are wrapped, XenMobile Mail Manager and XenMobile NetScaler Connector do not install. [#535337] 11. On Android devices, the camera might not work correctly while capturing video for upload. In that case, the user must tap the back button to exit the camera. To enable video capture from a MDX-wrapped app, set the Block mic record policy to Off. [#539024] 12. An app wrapped with MDX Toolkit for Android might not open. [#TRK0522983] 13. From WorxWeb for ios, a document opened in WorxEdit or attached to an email in WorxMail is corrupted. [#TRK0526098] MDX Toolkit 10.0 1. Users cannot view attachments when using the wrapped Voltage app. [#445160] 2. A DNS error occurs with a wrapped LCPing app. [#476287] 3. An issue with ios app wrapping requires symbols to be stripped from the app. [#478917] 4. Users cannot wrap an.ipa file that does not specify an icon. [#481647] 5. On an Android device, users cannot view attachments in an in-house wrapped MDX app. [#489482] 6. After you wrap an ios app with the MDX Toolkit, functionality changes occur.

[#491935] 7. When you wrap and deploy an EWP app, when users install and open the app on an ios device, the app fails after users authenticate. [#492405] 8. Activity stack issues occur with IBM Notes Traveler apps. [#500946] 9. Users are blocked in WorxNotes due to an IPClient socket timeout. [#504027] 10. If you set a policy to block the AirDrop protocol, users can still use AirDrop. [#505913] 11. On an ios device, if you set an encryption policy to Off and restrict document exchange, MDX apps do not appear in the Open-In menu. [#508570] 12. When you enable encryption, files are not created in the temp directory. [#508924] 13. When a CRM app is wrapped with the MDX Toolkit, the app does not open. [#514486]
