TRD 1. A single online searchable database across all Interest Groups and Task Forces including sponsored and non-sponsored works. Resources indexed include hundreds of instantly downloadable CEATI Reports, complementary Industry Workshops Presentations, Information Exchanges, Surveys, and over a thousand CEA Reports. Here we searched for the word flood and got multiple hits. In all cases, the user can click on the title to get more information including the objectives, abstract and date of publication. Sponsored reports are available for immediate download.
TRD 2. Use Keywords and Filters to improve the quality of search Results. Here are examples of possible filters using the built in Advanced Search option: 1. Type (e.g. Type of Document, Project, or Event) 2. Sector (e.g. Generation, Transmission, Distribution, etc.) 3. Interest Group (e.g. Power System Planning and Operations, Distribution Assets, etc.) 4. Sponsored and/or Non-Sponsored Reports In this example, we are only looking in the Generation program for documents which are Published Reports.
TRD 3. Allow Participants to easily and instantly share this Database and its contents with colleagues. Participants can register their Company s IP address with the site, enabling automated login for their colleagues from any on-site computer. Simply pass along the website address and they will have instant access to the search engine, with no username or password required. If they find a report they need, they can download it if it has been sponsored by your company or, otherwise, request a quote directly to CEATI.
TRD 4. A ranking system such that the most relevant files appear first in the list of search results. Search results are returned with the most relevant (Score of 5/5) at the top down to the least relevant (Score of 1/5) at the bottom.
