Motorized quarter turn actuator Construction The GEMÜ 98 motorized quarter turn actuator is a compact design. The motor and gear are combined as one unit in a plastic housing. The quarter turn actuator is designed for use with AC or DC voltages and utilises a DC motor with a secondary spur gear. The 90 movement is achieved by a ball screw and lever based on the scotch yoke principle.
