The Inbox will show subfolders for the current year, and the previous 2 years, and under each year there are sub-folders arranged by month. This is the default view of the File Manager. Files older than 3 years are still accessible by searching for the file based on the file name. Select the month sub-folder to view files. All files processed during the month will appear in the middle of the screen. Files are always loaded into the current month folder. Users have the ability to move these files as desired. Shared with Me The Shared with Me folder contains any files that have been shared with users via the File Share feature. Refer to the Shared With Me section on page 28. File Library The File Library is used to keep files in specific folders. Create new folders by using the Add Folder button at the top of the page. Users can move files from the Inbox to any folders created under the File Library. Users can create sub-folders within each folder so the folder structure can be as complex as desired. Each folder can be named, files can be added or deleted, subfolders can be added, the folder can be moved to a different location under the library, and the folders can be deleted. Move Allows users to choose one or more files to move to a different folder under the File Library. Send Used to send Rx Maps to a field computer. There are two ways to send a file. 1. Choose the file to send from the File Library by placing a check mark in the box next to the file, then select the Send button. The Send Files to Field Computer window will display and users can choose which field computer(s) to send the file(s) to. 2. Without placing a check mark next to a file, select the Send button and the Send Files to Field Computer window will display. This window allows users to choose files that are in the File Library and choose which field computer(s) to send the file(s) to. Also contains a link to upload new files to the library. Select the link to browse the computer to import a new file to send to a field computer. After the files have been uploaded into the library, they can then be sent to the field computer(s). Multiple files can be sent to multiple field computers, if desired, in the same instance. Users can cancel the sending of a file by selecting the Field Hub from the Home screen, then selecting View Files. The option to cancel will only be available until the file leaves the queue and is sent to the field computer (usually 1-2 minutes). Print Allows users to choose files to view or download as a PDF file and then print the job report from a PDF file viewer. Select more than one file to print a single PDF file containing multiple files. Download Allows the user to download and save one or more files in three possible formats and then send them to the Download Manager. Remote Support Remote support can be used when a field computer is connected to a Slingshot Field Hub and setup properly in the Slingshot system. Anyone with a Slingshot username can perform remote support as long as the user has the remote support code from the field computer and the remote support function has been enabled on the field computer. For more information about remote support, see the Knowledgebase Articles on www.ravenhelp.com. Street Maps Street Maps are available to create, download, and install for Viper 4 Field Computers with software 2.4.X.X. or higher. Quick Start: 1. Enter a Name for the map. 2. Select a place on the map with the computer mouse to choose the center of the map to be created. This can be moved and changed any time during the creation process by selecting a different area on the map. The area selected will become the new center of the map.

3. Use the Slider bar to increase or decrease the map size. The map (Tile) size is in miles and creates a square area (a size 10 means the Tile covers a 10 mile by 10 mile area). 4. Zoom in or out, as needed, to ensure all the desired area is with-in the colored box. Use the + and - Buttons in the upper left hand side of the map screen. 5. The Latitude and Longitude displayed is the center-point of the map. 6. Select the Create button to create the Tile/map. The new map will show under the Create Map bar on the left side of the screen. 7. Select the map name on the left side of the screen to check the Download Status. When the file is ready to download a Ready to Download link will appear. Select the link to download and save the map file to a USB memory stick to import the file(s) into the Viper 4. The file can be saved anywhere on the USB stick (or to the computer if desired). 8. Insert the USB memory stick into the Viper 4 and select the Administrator bar at the top of the home screen then select the File Manager button. 9. Select the USB Import Manager tab, select the USB from the drop down menu, then select Street Maps as the file type. Select the blue arrow at the bottom of the screen to continue. 10. Select the street map file(s) to import then select the copy or move icon. 11. Confirm the upload of the files at the bottom of the Viper 4 screen by tapping the green check mark. The upload can take several minutes depending on the size of the map that was created. NOTE: It is best to perform a Street Map upload when not in a job and when time permits. The upload time is dependent on the size of the file; the bigger the file the longer the upload will take. During the upload process a job is not able to be started, continued, etc. on the Viper 4 until the upload is complete. Map View The Street maps page default view will show all of North America on the map. Zoom in (+) or out (-) by selecting the + or - buttons in the upper left corner of the map. Use the mouse and cursor to select a place on the map to move around to a different part of the world. (press and hold the mouse s left button to click and drag ) Starting location A starting location can be chosen by selecting any area of the map by selecting a spot on the map with the computer mouse. The selected spot will be the center of the Tile or map area. The Tile is the map selection that will make up the street map file to be downloaded. The center of the Tile is displayed as the Latitude and Longitude below the Name. A starting location can also be chosen by selecting the search icon. Enter a location into the box then select the location from the options that appear. Once the location is chose, press the enter key on the keyboard. The location entered will be the center of the Tile. The center of the Tile is displayed as the Latitude and Longitude below the Name.

Tile size The default size of a new Tile (street map area) is 10 (The map area covered will be 10 miles wide by 10 miles long). The range of map sizes is from 1 to 200, so the map created can be from 1 mile wide by 1 mile long up to 200 miles long and 200 miles wide. The size of the area covered can be changed using the slider bar below the map. To view the size of the area check the Size box below the map. Map/Tile Owner The Owner party is the person or account that owns the street map that has been created. The default setting is for the street map to be owned solely by the Slingshot login being used. To change the Owner party select the drop down menu and choose from the list that appears. If the Owner party is changed to, say, a client or company account, anyone with administrative rights to the client or company account will be able to see and download the street map. In the below example Slingshot End User is the person s log in. If Slingshot End User is chose then only that person will have access to the street maps he or she creates. If Slingshot End User, Inc. is chose then anyone that is an administrator of that company account with-in Slingshot has access to the street maps created.

It is important to know where the Street Maps were stored when saved to the computer or USB memory stick. The root directory of the USB stick is recommended as that is usually the easiest place to find the files. The file name will be the name that was assigned when the map file was created on the Slingshot Website. Select the desired streetmaps files to import into the Viper 4 then select the copy or move icon to the right side of the Viper 4 screen. Confirm the import of the file(s) by selecting the green check mark
