The initial screen shown in Figure below shows a Scan and Connect button. Press Scan and Connect to discover devices that support the Smart Switch mesh service and connect to the nearest device. The application will automatically connect to the closest device based on the RSSI value. Setting up a Network To setup a Smart Switch mesh network a network key needs to be generated from a passphrase. This section describes the steps for generating a network key to start setting up a new network: Once the application connects to a Smart-Switch mesh device, a drop down menu is enabled which can be used to navigate to any of the Smart-Switch mesh control pages. Select the Security Settings page as shown in Figure below. The first time the application is started it will go to this page automatically. Enter a passphrase and press OK to setup a new network key. This network key will be used to associate new devices to the The security settings screen also shows the Bluetooth address of the connected bridge device. Note: It is important to un-check Authorise Devices if the Smart- Switch mesh devices do not support the authorisation code
feature as otherwise it will not be possible to associate devices. Once the device is associated a message box is displayed showing the 16-bit Device ID assigned to the device. Associating Devices to a Network In order to join devices to the Smart-Switch mesh network, the following steps need to be followed: Navigate to the Device Association screen from the main menu, see Figure below. The display will list the 128-bit UUIDs of the devices available for association, the device type will be displayed with the signal strength and the number of hops of the signal received. Select the UUID of a device to associate it to the Configuration Menu Select the Configuration page from the application main menu. The Configuration screen lists the groups and associated switches as shown in Figure below. By default the application provides four groups to which no switch will have been assigned. Touch and hold a Switch to pop-up a menu to configure the selected switch. A message will display to indicate association is in progress. Select Rename to rename a switch. Select Delete to remove the switch from the Select Device Info to see further information on the chosen switch including the supported models. Select Firmware Info to get the firmware information for a switch.

Adding Switch to multiple group Controlling Switches The Switch Control page of the application lists all associated switches and configured groups. Select an individual switch, all switches or a group from the drop down list as shown in Figure below. Tap the power button to turn the connected lights/electrical device on or off. Move the slider at the bottom to adjust the brightness/speed of the selected lights/fan.
