If you choose to pay by cheque/moey order, you must mail your paymet to the College. Make your cheque/moey order payable to the Otario College of Social Workers ad Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Post-dated cheques will ot be accepted if dated after December 31. There will be a $25 charge for ay cheque/moey order that is ot hooured. Please write your ame ad registratio umber o the bottom of your cheque/moey order or attach a prited copy of the olie paymet page with your cheque/moey order. Aual fees are due o or before December 31. For paymet received after Jauary 31, aual fees will iclude a $50 pealty provided that paymet is received prior to suspesio. NEW GRADUATE MEMBERS New graduate members are eligible for a $100 exemptio from the aual fee. New graduate members will receive this exemptio for the two years of membership immediately followig the year of registratio as a ew graduate member. If a ew graduate fails to pay the aual fee by Jauary 31 of the reewal year, the member is NOT eligible for the exemptio i the followig year. INACTIVE MEMBERS A member who wishes to become a iactive member must otify the Registrar of their itetio to become a iactive member by completig, sigig ad submittig the Notice of Itetio to Become a Iactive College Member form at least 60 days before the member iteds to become a iactive member. The member must complete, sig ad submit the Udertakig ad Ackowledgemet form ad pay ay outstadig fees owed to the College, icludig ay aual fee owed for the curret year, pealty or other amout. A iactive member may resume membership if they complete ad submit to the Registrar a form to apply for a geeral certificate of registratio at least 60 days before the iactive member wishes to resume membership ad pay ay outstadig fees owig to the College. After receipt ad review of the otice form, the College will issue to the member a ivoice for ay outstadig fees owig to the College. RETIRED MEMBERS If you are o loger practisig social work or social service work ad do ot ited to retur to practice i Otario or ay other jurisdictio, you will have the optio to apply for a retired class of certificate of registratio.
