Munroe Regional Medical Center Apple Mobile idevice Setup for Citrix Applications (iphone & ipad requires that you are running ios v4.2 or above) To install the Citrix Receiver on your Apple iphone or ipad mobile device: Launch the App Store and search for Citrix Receiver. Once the Citrix Receiver is located in the App Store, click on and enter your Apple ID Password to install the application on your device. Page 1 of 7
Once the application is installed, you now have to configure the connection. Launch the Citrix Receiver by tapping on the newly created icon. Once launched, you will be presented with an initial screen asking you to create an account. Tap on Add Account to begin the process of creating a new account to access the Citrix Resources. You will now be presented with a site configuration page where you will enter the URL address of the MRMC Citrix 6 environment. Enter the following: https://myconnect.munroeregional.com and tap Page 2 of 7
Once the address has been verified, you will be presented with an account configuration screen where you will enter your account authentication information. Here you will enter the following information: Description: Enter a description to identify this connection. Ex: Munroe Citrix Username: Enter your Munroe network user ID. Ex: ABCXXXX where ABC is your 3 initials and XXXX is the last 4 of your SSN or the 3 numbers of your dictation number. Password: Domain: Security Token: Enter your password that is associated with your Munroe network user ID. Enter mrhs Leave OFF Tap Once your information has been validated, you will be taken to the account logon screen which will show all accounts available to you. You will see the previously validated account to Munroe Citrix. Page 3 of 7
Tap on the Munroe Citrix account entry and you will be presented with a login screen asking for your Munroe password. Your username field should be pre-filled with your previously entered username. Enter your Munroe password and tap If your account information was entered correctly, you will be presented with an iconic list of your applications. Simply tap on the icon of the application you wish to launch and it will be launched. (TIP: Tapping on the icon will add the application to your front FAVORITES apps list for quick access) You will still be required to enter application credentials for each application if they are required for normal access. You will see two tabs on the right of your screen. One tab is for SETTINGS, and the other, APPS is the iconic list of your applications not currently on your FAVORITES list (seen below). Once the application is launched, you can access the Citrix Receiver Control Menu if needed, by tapping on the area at the top of the screen (see below, left). This will drop down the menu to allow you additional functionality to maneuver within the application. Tapping the again will collapse the control menu. To close the application, exit the application normally as if you were running it on any normal PC. This should return you to the Citrix Receiver application list. If not, you can always drop down the control menu and tap the HOME button (see above). To log off the Citrix Receiver, tap on the APPS tab and tap on the button. Page 5 of 7
Below you will find some tips on gestures using the Citrix Receiver with your idevice: If you find that your idevice is not keeping your sessions active, you can try to use the following setting to see if it improves your ability to keep your sessions active.
