Date: Sunday, September 3, 2017 Sunday, September 10, 2017 Sunday, September 17, 2017 Time: 9.30am to 6.30pm as per batch allocation Venue: City Places (center will come to know along with Hall-ticket) Competition Rules, Regulations and Guidelines 1. Eligibility : All Students studied in the centers of AMATA (Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Teachers Association), Abacus classes of AMATA conducted at schools and the students of abacus from other companies or institutes are eligible to participate in the Online Abacus competition. 2. Applications : Students appearing for competition should apply only. The application available on www.abacuscompetition.com or application forms are available at AMATA Centers and participated institutes. 3. Last Date of Application : Students appearing for the competition exam should submit the online or offline applications before or until 25.08.2017. Contact your abacus center or Abacus Instructor 4. Competition fee : Each student appearing for the Abacus competition exam should pay Rs.600 for Indian Students for other country $10USD as competition fee, which is non-refundable. 5. Competition Level & Groups [age wise]: The abacus competition will be conducted Levelwise in different Age groups. Competition level - current level or completed level up to 15 th August 2017. Registered student will receive username and password for online practice. 6. Duration : Competition will be conducted to Level-wise. The duration of the competition will be Maximum of 30 minutes only. No extra time for whatsoever reason would be allowed to attend the exam after the stipulated time of 30 minutes is over. Note: ** Student exam time or batch will not be changeable or switchable at any circumstances.** 7. Question Paper : In the examination question paper, questions will display one after one on screen. If you want to solve particular type of question, there is a provision on top of the screen indicating the labels. Example- Addition & Subtraction, Multiplication, Division etc...each question has a blank text box. You have to input the answers through Key board. 8. Valuation : Questions would carry 10, 5, 5 marks each. For Addition and Subtraction 10 marks, Multiplication 5 marks and division 5 marks. Electronic Distribution of Competition Examination:-ln a procedure the question paper is randomly generate by the computer and evaluation of question paper is automatic. 9. Prizes: AMATA Championship and winners prizes will awarded as follow: A) Students: Participant certificate is for all students other than Winners. B) Center Incharge: Two best Franchise award will be awarded to top in the list of Franchisees. C) Instructor: Two best Center Incharge award will be awarded to top in the list of Instructors. D) Performance: One best Performance award will be awarded to well performing Franchisee. E) Overall Championship: Overall Championship award will be awarded to the Franchise. It based on number of participants and scoring points of the Winners.
10. General: A) Termination / Disqualify from the Competition: Due to following performance or activities from the contestant will disqualify and sent out from the Competition room. Due to the following reasons the contestant can be disqualified for any of the following malpractices: i. Interaction between contestants, franchisee or instructor in competition room during the test. ii. iii. iv. Creating a Disturbance. Attempting to take the exam for someone else - impersonation. Giving or receiving assistance of any kind. v. Attempting to temper with the operation of the computer or meddling with system. vi. Using prohibited aids, items are not allowed; such as a. Cell Phones b. Electronic Diaries c. Calculator d. Alarm Watch e. Listing Devices and recording or photographic devices. f. Attempting to remove exam questions and / or responses (in any format) from the examination room. g. Leaving the exam room without permission. h. Failing to follow exam administrator s Direction.
