New Physician users- Your initial username will be the first letter of your first name and your full last name. Your initial password will be the first letter of your last name and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number. 1. Log into EMR 1 of 14

Completing Signature Deficiencies: By default, signature deficiencies will be displayed automatically at login. 1. Click on Process All to have the assignments presented one after another. 2. If asked, enter your PIN Code and click OK New Physician users- Your initial PIN Code will be the last 4 digits of your SSN. 2 of 14

The Deficiency Viewer will start, displaying the first document to be signed. A yellow box indicates where the signature will appear on the page. See the Size Toolbar options on page 14 for instructions on changing the size of the image within the viewer. 3. Click Sign to sign the displayed document. Important note- the Sign button won t be available until you have viewed all the pages in the document. Single Page Documents: -If the document is a one-page document and you wish to sign it, click the Sign button. The next document will appear automatically. Multiple Page Documents: -If the document has multiple pages, press the Next Page button document. to page through the -On the signature page, the Sign button will appear. Press the Sign button. document will automatically appear. The next Once you have processed all available signature documents, you are returned to the Deficiency Worklist screen. 3 of 14

Using AutoSign Auto Sign allows you to automatically complete all signature deficiencies. To access Auto Sign: 1. From the Deficiency Viewer, click on the Auto Sign button. The documents to be signed will appear in the viewer and will scroll automatically after displaying for the number of seconds selected in your personal options (see Setting Deficiency Worklist Personal Options on page 10). If needed, you may stop the documents from scrolling at anytime by clicking the Stop button. To resume scrolling, click the Continue button. After all documents have been reviewed the following screen will appear: 2. Click YES to automatically sign all of the documents that have been reviewed. Completing Dictation Deficiencies 1. From the Deficiency Worklist screen, click on Dictation. Your dictation deficiencies will appear. 4 of 14

2. To have all assignments presented one after another, click the Process All button. OR To review and process only selected deficiencies, click the check box in front of the deficiency you want, then click the Process button. The viewer window opens with the document type requiring dictation. Click the Documents tab to view the patient s chart for this encounter. The first time you click on Documents you will be taken to My View. You will need to configure this option by clicking on File, Preferences, Personal Record View My View Tab Set your Personal Record view from the Preferences menu 5 of 14

Select the document(s) in the list on the left that you would like in your Personal Record View Click the Add button to move them to the right. Click OK If you do not want to set up My View, then click on the Physicians tab to see the entire record for this account. 6 of 14

Click on a document type name to view that document. Use the Navigation Buttons to turn pages. 3. Complete the dictation using the standard dictation process. 4. When the dictation has been completed, click on the Complete button. DO NOT CLICK COMPLETE UNLESS THE REPORT HAS BEEN DICTATED. If applicable, the next dictation deficiency will appear, or you will be returned to the Deficiency Worklist screen. Completing Missing Text Deficiencies 1. From the Deficiency Worklist screen, click on Missing Text. Your missing text deficiencies will appear. 2. To have all assignments present one after another, click Process All button. OR To review and process only selected deficiencies, click the check box in front of the deficiency you want, then click the Process button. 7 of 14

3. If asked, enter your Pin # and click OK. The Missing Text Dialog box appears. 4. Review the Reason to determine what type of text needs to be added. If needed, review the patient s chart by clicking on the Documents Tab and viewing the necessary documents. Click on the Deficiency Tab to return to the deficiency screen. 5. Locate the yellow box on the document to determine where the text needs to be added. 6. Click once inside the yellow box, and begin typing (maximum of 240 characters). 7. When the text has been added, click on the Complete button. DO NOT CLICK COMPLETE UNLESS THE REQUESTED TEXT HAS BEEN ADDED. If applicable, the next missing text deficiency will appear, or you will be returned to the Deficiency Worklist screen. 8 of 14

Declining a Deficiency 1. If a document is not acceptable for completion, click the Decline button. 2. All declined deficiencies must include a reason. Highlight one of the Standard Reasons, OR type the reason into the Other Reason box, then click OK. The deficiency will be removed from your list and will be sent back to an HIM Analyst for review. 9 of 14

Setting Deficiency Worklist Personal Options 1. To set personal options, click Options from the main Deficiency Worklist Screen. The Personalize Deficiency Worklist Module screen appears. Set Default Deficiency Set: Determines the default worklist displayed at logon. Individual: Displays your personal worklist. Group: If you have access to sign for other, displays the group worklist. Default Deficiency Type: Determines the default deficiency type displayed at logon. Change PIN Code: Allows the user to change their pin code. AutoSign Time, Allows users to set the length of time documents are displayed when using the auto-sign function. 2. Click Save after changing Deficiency Worklist options. 10 of 14

Changing Password 1. Click Change Password from the main EMR WebStation screen. 2. Enter your Old Password. 3. Enter your New Password twice. 4. Click OK. Logging Off To exit the system, click Sign Out. 11 of 14

Viewer Toolbar Options To customize the toolbars displayed, click View then Toolbars. Click on the toolbar name to select it for display. To customize the size of the toolbar buttons, click on File then Preferences then Toolbars. Select either Large or Small buttons, and click OK. 12 of 14

Viewer Toolbar Button Descriptions Zoom Rotate Rubberband Zoom Allows you to enlarge a specific area of the image you want to look at more closely. Click on the button, then click the left mouse button on the image and draw a rectangle over the area you want to enlarge. When you release the mouse button, the area of the image in the rectangle zooms in to fit the viewport Grab Scroll When clicked on, Grab Scroll turns your cursor into a hand icon that brings different parts of an image into the window. When you click your left mouse button and hold it down, you can move it up/down, left/right to scroll the document. Zoom In Enlarges the current image by 25% in relation to actual size every time you select this item. Zoom Out Reduces the current image by 25% in relation to actual size every time you select this item. Rotate Left Rotates the image 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Rotate Right Rotates the image 90 degrees clockwise. View Content Tabs provide information panels about the active patient, encounter, deficiency, and page (administrative use only) on the left side of the viewer window. The Content panel also provides the list of documents in a 'tree' display for the MRN, encounter, assignment, or deficiency. Bookmark This option allows you to mark pages in the medical record for quick access. Book View This option allows the viewer to display the pages of the selected document(s) in a 2-page spread. 13 of 14

Size Best Fit Displays the entire image in the window while maintaining the aspect ratio. Width Displays the entire width of the image in the window. Height Displays the entire height of the image in the window. Actual Changes the viewed size to the original image. View Add With the appropriate rights, allows you to add records to a group or personal work queue. Print With appropriate rights, allows you to print the active page or a full, multi-page document. Help Displays the entire height of the image in the window. Exit The viewer closes the viewer and returns you to the appropriate module. Pages First Page Displays the first page of a multi-page document. Previous Page Displays the previous page of a multi-page document. Next Page Displays the next page of a multi-page document. Last Page Displays the last page of a multi-page document. 14 of 14
