Up t 2 temperature calibratin pints and up t100 humidity calibratin pints can be held indefinitely in the prbe memry. N calibratin pint is saved within the HF8 itself. A calibratin prtcl can be printed with the HW4 sftware. Either the HW4 sftware r the HF8 can be used at any time t delete unwanted calibratin pints frm the prbe r device memry. Adjustment (step 2) can be carried ut at any time after calibratin, even several days later. Adjustment is purely an electrnic prcess based n the data memrized by the prbe. Expse bth the reference prbe and the prbe t be calibrated t the same envirnment and wait fr full equilibrium with the envirnment. In a still air envirnment, it is highly recmmended t prvide sme ventilatin that is cmmn t bth the reference prbe and device t be adjusted. Press the MENU key and select either Prbe 1 r Prbe 2. The reference prbe is assumed t be cnnected t the nn-selected input. Press ENTER t activate the Prbe 1 r Prbe 2 menu item. Use the [-] key t select either Humi Adjust r Temp Adjust (this can be dne in any rder). Press ENTER t cnfirm and pen the next sub-menu. Use the [-] key t select the Acquire (Ref = Prbe) menu item and press ENTER t cnfirm. Humi Adjust: the HF8 displays bth the current humidity read by the device t be calibrated and the value prvided by the reference prbe. Press ENTER t accept the calibratin pint. Press ENTER t cnfirm and save the calibratin pint t the device memry. The HF8 autmatically exits the menu. Temp Adjust: the HF8 displays bth the current temperature read by the device t be calibrated and the value prvided by the reference prbe. Press ENTER t accept the calibratin pint. Press ENTER t cnfirm and save the calibratin pint t the device memry. The HF8 autmatically exits the menu. Nte: the prcedure can be repeated under different cnditins s as t accumulate several calibratin pints (temperature: maximum 2 pints, humidity: maximum 100 pints). 2010; Rtrnic AG E-M-HF8-V1_11
