Try logging in first. Use your email address as the Username, and your password is your surname beginning with a capital letter. For example, if you were John Smith you would log in this way: Figure 1 - The password is 'Smith' If this doesn t work, we likely haven t set up an account for you. Click the Register button below the Login button. Fill out the form on this page. You must at least enter a First Name, Surname, Email and Password. You will use your email as your username in the future, so make sure it is correct!
Click Create user to get create your profile.
Dashboard This is what you will see when you first log in. As you can see, it is bare. The next step is to complete your profile. To edit your profile, click Edit Profile here: Your profile
In this page, you can edit your own details. Keep in mind that your Email address is used to log in, so you must be sure you can remember it if you decide to change it here. Your Default Price is a field to make your life easier when it comes to creating new Bookings, this price will automatically be filled in. Of course, you can change it on those pages, too. Here you can also change your password. Add New In this tab, you will create Venues, Courses and Bookings. Click on the tab to open it up.
Figure 2 - The ability to add User is not something we expect to be used regularly, if at all The order of these links are important, and are in the order that you should create. You cannot book a puppy into a course that doesn t exist, and you cannot create a course at a venue that doesn t exist! So click on Venue to get started.
New Venue This is the New Venue form. It is simple to complete. It must have a name and at least the first address line, as well as postcode. The Directions field is there for you to put in some instructions to the clients on how to get to the venue, for example if a place is difficult to find. The Map Link field is there for you to put in a link to an online map to your venue for example, a google maps link, the same way I have above. The Notes text area is for extra bits like wheelchair access. This is intended for the client to see so do not put information about yourself or other clients that need to stay private. Click Save Venue to submit the form.
New Course The New Course form is designed to contain the venue, first date and time, and the default cost of the course. To select a venue, click the box and select the venue the course is to be held at. There are multiple ways to select the First Class Date. Click the box and manually input the day, month and year. (This only works in a few browsers) Click the box and a drop-down calendar will appear. Select the day from this and it will put the date in the correct format for you. Some browsers allow you to click arrows on the right hand side of the box to increase/decrease the date. Different browsers will handle it differently and some are more compatible than others, to explain why you may have a different experience between devices. Selecting the time is as simple as clicking the box and either entering the time manually or using the pop up box to change the time. The Notes here are for your personal use. The client will not see these notes unless they request to see them, which they legally have the right to do. New Booking Click on an image to open a large version of it
The new booking page requires details for he client and puppy. It is all simply labeled, with all required fields marked with an asterisk (*). The Price on this form is the final price. It cannot be changed after you submit the form, and will be used to charge the client. Also notice that this price is the Default price you set in your profile. The Notes on this page are for your personal use only. View & Edit In the View & Edit tab you can view your Venues and Courses, as well as edit them. Payments will be available soon.
View Venues This page lists all of your venues. The Map Link column lists all of the link that you added to each venue. If you didn t add a link, the link will simply open the View Venues page in a new tab. You can click on the column headers to sort by that column Click Edit Venues to edit a venue. Edit Venue
This page is almost the same as the New Venue page. Simply edit the fields you want to change and click Save changes to submit the changes. View Courses This page lists all of your courses. To view all of the puppies that are booked into the course, click View Puppies. To edit the course details, click Edit Class.
Click the Trash symbol to delete a course. Edit Course This form looks similar to the New Course page. It has the Current first date of course which is the date you chose in the New course form. To change the date or time, change the New First Class Date or New First Class Time fields. View Puppies
The same rules apply to this page as the View courses The Make Payments button is a link to the test system and no payments are possible at the moment. Click Edit Puppy to edit the puppy/client details. Edit Puppy The Edit Puppy page is also very similar to the initial New Booking form. You cannot change the price after the initial creation of the booking. Click Save Changes to save the updated details.
