Apple Pay - Frequently Asked Questions What is Apple Pay? Apple Pay is a payments feature integrated into the Wallet app on your ios device that lets you add your Century Bank (CB) MasterCard Debit Card to Apple Pay to make purchases at participating retailers in stores, using Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, or within applications downloaded to your device. Sensitive payment account information found on payment cards, such as your card number, expiration date and three-digit security code, is replaced with a unique digital identifier, a token that can be used to process payments without exposing actual account information. How does Apple Pay work? Apple Pay is a contactless payment technology as well as a feature on the latest iphones and Apple Watch.
