Challenges Service quality test: PERFORMANCE: how fast a service request can be completed Criteria: Image 470 Kb (800x600 8 bits color depth) < 5 seg Test: 10 requests/h continously CAPACITY: limit of the number of simultaneous requests which should be provided with guaranteed performance Criteria: Simultaneous requests > 20/seg Simultaneous downloads >10/seg 90% requests must answer < 30 seg. AVAILABILITY: probability that the system is up Criteria: available 99% time Test: 10 requests/h during 1 year
