Project 2 reminders: Hand in your typed book summary/response at end of class today. Make sure to include your name and section.

Project 2 reminders: First book cover critique this Friday. Bring 3 book cover compositions to pin up. All must be 6" x 9", vertical. Print out centered on 8.5 x 11" high-quality matte paper. (Not mounted.) Use computer-generated type (not sketches) for your book title and author You can use any kind of imagery (photography, abstract shapes, etc). You can use just type if you wish.

Project 2 reminders: We want to see lots of very different concepts for the first critique. Try different subjects and experiment with different media.

Project 2 reminders: Also due Friday: your image/research file. Present 2 images per 8.5 x 11" sheet. Minimum 12 images. Can be printed on regular paper, but preferably quality matte paper. Bring them loose (not bound or stapled together), so they can be pinned up as needed. Make sure your name and section is on each sheet (upper left corner).
