1200 Opening nd Closing the Cmer To open, slide relese ltch () in direction of rrow. Cmer opens utomticlly. DO NOT force cover open s it will dmge cmer. To close, slide relese ltch () in direction of rrow. Hold cmer s shown. Close lid nd let go of relese ltch. DO NOT force cover closed s it will dmge cmer. 2
1200 Loding nd Unloding the Film Note: Use only Polroid film. Before use, check expirtion dte. This cmer uses 1200 film with 12 frmes per pck, or Spectr or Imge 990 film with 10 frmes per pck. 12-frme film: Blnk = no film pck inserted S = strt, numbers count up E = empty, 12 frmes tken 10-frme film: Blnk = no film pck inserted S = strt, numbers count up 10 (ornge) = empty, 10 frmes tken 11, E (ornge) = empty, cmer cycled beyond lst (10th) frme To lod the film, press film door relese () to open. Hold film by edges. Insert film pck s shown. Push film pck in until "click" is herd. Close film door. Film cover ejects utomticlly. To unlod film, press film door relese () to open. Pull tb to remove empty film pck. 3
1200 Tking Pictures with the 1200si For horizontl photos, hold cmer s shown in. For verticl photos, hold cmer s shown in b. b 1 Frme your subject in viewfinder. 2 Press shutter button hlfwy. The distnce to your subject (in meters or feet) nd symbol re displyed. A green symbol indictes tht it is oky to tke photo. 3 Press shutter button ll the wy. The photo is utomticlly ejected. Note: If flsh or focus is not correct, cmer beeps nd/or flshing yellow cution symbol ppers. Adjust the cmer or reposition your subject s described in the next section. If the flsh or focus is not correct... When the cution symbol nd the following error indictors pper: Your subject is too close. The number 0.1 is displyed. Relese shutter button nd stnd t lest 0.6 m (2 ft.) from subject. Your subject is beyond flsh rnge. A number from 4.8 to 6.2 is displyed. Relese shutter button nd position your subject within the 0.6 m to 4.6 m (2-15 ft.) flsh rnge. Your subject is within rnge, but the flsh is off. A number from 4.8 to 6.2 is displyed. Slide the flsh switch up to turn flsh on. Note: Distnce redings do not pper when subject is beyond 6.2 m (20 ft). 4

1200 Using Self-timer Plce cmer on tripod or other secure surfce nd set up photo. Press shutter button hlfwy nd relese button. Slide self-timer switch down. You hve 12 seconds before self-timer ctivtes shutter relese. Cmer beeps nd red light flshes for 10 seconds, then beeps stedily nd red light shines continuously for n dditionl two seconds before tking photo. Slide self-timer up. Photo ejects utomticlly. Note: To void double exposure, do not close cmer before sliding self-timer up. Tking Photos Through Glss Use these fetures To override utofocus nd utoflsh slide their controls down to OFF position. 1200 Cmer Mintennce Do not touch lens. Clen cmer lens with soft, lint-free cloth. If spots or bnding ppers on photos, cmer my hve dirty developer rollers. To clen developer rollers, dmpen clen cloth with tp wter. Open film door nd thoroughly clen rollers. If film is in cmer, clen rollers in dimly lit re. Developing Photos 55 F 13 C Do not shke. Do not bend. If temperture is below 55 F (13 C) plce developing photo in wrm loction, such s your pocket. 7
