General Information is the Wholesaler Mobile Catalog designed specifically for use on tabletbased devices. Currently it is an ipad application, non-ios users can access the supplemental website below. This tool provides the ability to search, view, email and order print copies of selected Nationwide marketing and sales materials, maintain a local copy Offline for disconnected use, and create offline orders to be processed when online. It is based on the Merrill Connect ordering system. Who uses it (audience) The tool is designed for use by external wholesalers as well as other sales and marketing associates that need quick and easy access to select materials. Who to contact about the content that is available? Contact your Channel Marketing Director (CMD) or Marketing partner with content requests for items to be made available on this tool. The content available is a subset of the Nationwide materials available on Merrill Connect, as well as other key marketing and sales items. Not on an ipad? Current ipad Users 1 Verify you have your Good access key Anyone using the app will now be integrating with the Good Enterprise application. You should have already received an email containing your Good access key. Check for the email message from "Good Administrator" or "GOODADMIN". 2 Uninstall your current version of If you have the previous version of on your ipad, you will need to: Uninstall the old version! Current ipad users can now skip to Page 12 to continue with your app installation. Current Tablet Users 1 Access the website The app is currently only available for the ipad. Tablet users can access the website: https://www.nwlit.com/mmw You must have a Merrill username and password to access the site. The site offers the same catalog experience on your device, as it does online. It's compatible with portable tablets, but is not available for smart phones. Setup: Step by Step Instructions 1 Your Merrill Account You must have a Merrill username and password to move forward with the set-up. If you don't have one, email or call: INVHD@nationwide.com 1-888-377-2929 6

Step by Step Instructions, con't 2 New ipad Users - Registering Your Device Your ipad must be registered with Nationwide. The following simple steps will start the process, as well as trigger the appropriate emails and approvals. From your desktop, access your internet browser and enter mymobile.nwie.net. Ensure the Personal Device Programs tab is selected. From the Personal Device Programs tab, click on the "Take Me There" link. The link will open the MyMobile registration page. Follow the prompts to register your ipad. Select Submit, which will trigger the emails for setting up application activations. If you're a tablet user, you don't need to register your device. The application is not available. Your access to Merrill will be through the mobile site. https://www.nwlit.com/mmw 7

Step by Step Instructions, con't 3 The Legal Approvals You will receive three emails following the MyMobile registration that will involve management approval and legal compliance: The first email is notification your device registration has been approved by your manager. The second email will be approval from your senior leadership. The third email will be the legal agreement. The legal compliance email has a clickable "Open Agreement" button provided. By clicking the button, the agreement will open on your screen for you to digitally sign. The agreement must be fulfilled to activate on your ipad. Before you download apps to your ipad Prior to downloading apps to your ipad, associates are also required to take the idrive course Using Your ipad for Nationwide Business. This is only accessible on your desktop. idrive.nwie.net 8

Step by Step Instructions, con't Setting Up Your ipad 4 Completing the Email Process You will receive a minimum of five emails, all of which have to be followed in order for Good and Merrill to sync and work properly with each other. The first email will contain a personal PIN number needed to complete the installation and configuration of the Good Application. The addressee will be GOODADMIN and contain the subject: Nationwide Good Activation PIN. The second email will be instructions for setting up the 'Box" application. The third email stream (could be multiple emails) will contain a personal access key and other information needed to complete the installation and configuration of the applications approved for use on your ipad. The fourth email stream will contain your access key to install. Without this, you will not be able to activate the application. The fifth email from INVHD will contain your username and password. Why are there so many emails? It may seem like a lot of emails are involved in the set-up, when in fact they are part of an efficient process. They're automatically generated. Your level of effort will be minimal. 9

Step by Step Instructions, con't Installing the Applications Before you begin installation: Have you completed your idrive course " Using Your ipad for Nationwide Business" Is there an active wireless connection. Do you have an Apple ID 5 (ipad) Application Select the App Store icon on the ipad Enter the following search: merrillconnect Then select MerrillConnect Mobile Catalog for Good Click on the "Open" button to start the download 6 Good Application Enter "Good" into the App Store search Select Good Application Click on the "Free" button to start the download Open the Good app to finish Good set-up Use your Nationwide user name Choose password Successful Downloads You should now see these icons on your homescreen: Good 10

Step by Step Instructions, con't Logging into & Syncing Apps Now that you have: Registered your ipad Taken the idrive course Downloaded Good and Received all of your Merrill and Good access keys, usernames and passwords A reliable wifi network you're ready to sync with Good.! If you have error messages during setup, contact INVHD@nationwide.com or 1-888-377-2929. 11

Step by Step Instructions, con't 7 Opening and syncing your apps Now that you have your apps downloaded, you can begin synchronization by opening the app. The first screen in the Merrill app you'll see is from Good Dynamics, that will start the set-up process. This screen will only appear in the initial set-up, not every time you open. Click on the button The set-up will take you to a Good screen where you'll enter your Nationwide email address and the Good access key you received when registering the device. Input your information on each line Hit return Current Good Users You have an access key emailed to you from "Good Administrator" / GOODAMIN". The final Good screen in Merrill set-up will be asking for your Good password Enter the password The password is case sensitive If you've forgotten or don't know your password, tap on "Forgot Password" For help with Good access keys or Good Mail, contact IT support Nationwide IT Service Desk 1-800-817-5523 12

8 Entering Merrill access information Step by Step Instructions, con't Once you've logged into Good, initial use of the app requires the input of the Merrill URL, and your Merrill Username and Password. Select OK on the dialog box that informs of the Initial Setup requirements. The Merrill server URL is: https://www.nwlit.com/mmw This must be entered exactly. Enter this URL, your Merrill username and password, then click "Save."! If you have error messages during setup, contact INVHD@nationwide.com or 1-888-377-2929. 9 Congratulations! You've now successfully installed and synced the app, and are ready to benefit from all the features offers. Your Merrill Account Need a Merrill account? INVHD@nationwide.com 1-888-377-2929 Forgot or need to reset your initial Merrill password? Tap on Forgot Password in Settings 13

Features The Main Navigation Offline Documents Offline Documents allows users to view items that have been downloaded to the ipad and are available even if there is no internet connection. Online Catalog Online Catalog takes users to the online catalog to select, order, or email items. It also allows users to tag (organize) as well as mark items available offline. Pending Offline Orders Orders can be created, even if there is no internet connection. Those orders will show in the Pending Offline Orders, and users can submit for fulfillment once their ipad is connected to the internet again. Settings Settings is where the URL, username, and password are stored for. This is where you can change your password, or reset it if you've forgotten your password. Help The Help menu provides answers to frequently asked questions, as well as help desk contact information. Why Change Your App Password 1. To keep your password secure, by updating every few months 2. If your password has been changed for the website, you'll need to update the password on your ipad, in the settings section of the app. 14

Features, con't Online Catalog Contents The default view shows all items available. You can filter your content results on the screen by tapping the filter categories within the left column navigation. Offline A reserved folder to identify items you have made available when disconnected from wifi. If an item's thumbnail has a blue folder with in the lower left corner, it's stored in the "Offline" folder for you. Tagging Tab Area storing custom folders and organize items you've tagged. (similar to favorites in a browser) Search For specific items Navigation Page arrow icons 15

Features, con't Filters: A Closer Look Filter Tab Tab-contained navigation that filters by product, material, state, and global tagging terms. Thumbnails to the right update to current relative items for the filter selected. Global Tags Folder tags predetermined by Marketing based on user feedback, providing filtering and ease of search. For example, the "Conferences" folders house event-specific content. Tagging Tab Items you've custom tagged are grouped and can be filtered within the "My Tags" tab. 16

Features, con't Search: Improvements Search has been improved to be more responsive, and to offer more concise and asked results. The search box is centered for easy access, and can be easily typed into. Search on the ipad and online behave in the same manner. If you're familiar with searching within an online browser, this search experience is very similar, as it searches through the collections of items available. Search Box Type in search terms. The window will prepopulate with common and most used words and phrases. The search box behaves in a similar fashion to that of Google Search. What If You Are Offline and Want to Search? Offline Search When offline, you can search your downloaded items. You can also search by using filters within the offline navigation. You can only search the full contents of the online library when connected to internet wifi. 17

Features, con't Display Options (online) The Display As dropdown provides a choice between large icons, small icons, or list views. Large and small icon options change image sizes and number of items displayed per screen. The list option is organized in a top to bottom style with thumbnails, and check boxes next to each item allowing for multiple selections. When in "List" display, multiple items can be: Viewed offline Selected and added to the cart, at the same time Added to a particular tag, such as Favorites. Helpful Tip: Tagging Multiple Items Tagging multiple items can be helpful when grouping a large number of items together for a meeting or event. 18

Features, con't Item Details Selecting the thumbnail, or the description below it, opens the details of the document. Information about the item is displayed and available including View Document, Add to Order, Send Email, Available Offline. and Tags. View Document Tap to open the item Add to Order Add to the Shopping Cart for email or hard copy distribution Send Email Immediately email the item Tags Manage documents, by tagging folders to keep items organized. To tag, type the name of a folder to contain the item and hit return. This can be a new or existing folder Tags in blue are controlled by, and specific to the user Tags in orange cannot be changed Available Offline A checkbox, to mark an item to be viewed when offline or without wifi connectivity. Helpful Tip: How to Remove a Tag To remove a tag, tap on the "X" next to the tag name. 19

Features, con't Emailing within the App There are multiple places within the app that have the functionality to email PDFs to a recipient, or multiple recipients. Option 1: From the Item Detail Page Option 2: When viewing a document on screen Option 3: Directly from the cart Option 1: Emailing from the Item Detail page From the Item Detail page, tap on the "Send Email" button. That will open the email window. Fill in your recipient information, and message. When ready to send, tap on the 'Send Order By Email" button. Helpful Tip: Emailable Documents The Item Detail page shows if an item can be emailed. 20

Features, con't From the Item Detail page, tap on the "View Document" link under the thumbnail This will open the document on your screen. Tap on the icon to open the communications pop-up window. Select This will launch your Good email application 21

Features, con't Emailing and Integration with Good (con't) Once you've tapped on the Good icon, your Good email will open. You're now integrated with the Good app. The benefits of Good email and contact information can now be utilized in your email correspondences. Good Benefits When the email message opens: The subject and main body will be auto-populated. You can add recipient(s). Your Good contacts are available. You can also add to the body copy to personalize your outbound message. The email will be in your Good "Outbox" until you have wifi connection. Once you send the email, you'll have a record of it in your Good "Sent" folder. 22

Features, con't Shopping Cart Place items in the Cart for final order and distribution Notifications are provided for restrictions like email or print-only items Order Contents Can be modified as well as Shipping Address and Shipping Details Distribution An item in the cart can have "Submit Print Order", "Send Order By Email", or both. Only what's visible per item are your options. Shipping Edits In the Edit Shipping Address screen, you can update the recipient address for each order. In the Edit Shipping Details screen, you can update method and delivery information. Saving Orders can be saved for up to 14 days by selecting the link in the lower right corner of the Cart Cancel Order Orders can be canceled before being submitted. 23

Features, con't Saved Orders To view, edit, or submit saved orders, tap the Recipient drop-down and tap Order History Tap the order number listed in Saved status. The order details screen will appear. There are options to: Cancel Order Edit Order Copy Order Searching Orders When in order history, you can scroll the listings for any saved or completed orders. 24

Features, con't Order History Your order history contains the order numbers, client names, shipment methods and status. By selecting the Recipient dropdown list, a menu appears to view Order History Tap on an order number to view order details 25

Features, con't Order Status The status of recently submitted orders can be viewed by selecting the order number Each line item has a status listed in the status column If the order has shipped, the UPS tracking number will be available Status column UPS tracking 26

Features, con't Copying Orders To copy a previous order and make minor changes, select Order History. Choose the order to be copied and tap Copy Order. From there, edit the necessary fields before submitting. This function is useful if you need to place multiple orders for the same items. Changing Recipients By selecting the Recipient dropdown list, a menu appears that allows a user to change the recipient for an order 27

Features, con't Offline Experience Offline Advantages There are advantages for you as a wholesaler, when you're offline and using your app. When offline, you can: Stay organized. Plan for and be prepared for sales calls. Customize folders for clients, with tags and offline documents. Create orders on the fly, which can be processed once wifi connection returns. Review any documents with clients that are saved in "Offline Documents." Sync tags to your mobile web experience once back online (see Synchronization, Page 32). Sync your orders, updates, tags and folders from your web experience to your app. Offline Documents: General To view items when there is no wifi, select the "Offline Documents" folder on the left. This will show items that have been previously tagged "Offline" (see Pages 15-16 for tagging). You can filter by the tags that have been given to the offline documents Select the thumbnail to view item details. Select View from the Item Detail page. 28

Features, con't Offline Documents: Integration with Good Email The new app and its integration with the Good app, offers various opportunities to email your offline documents with Good. In the Item Detail view, you can tap on the email envelope icon on the upper right of the screen. This will trigger the following pop-up: By tapping Yes, you launch Good. By tapping No, you return to the item detail page. Good Benefits When the email message opens: The subject and main body will be auto-populated. You can add recipient(s). Your Good contacts are available. You can also add to the body copy to personalize your outbound message. The email will be in your Good "Outbox" until you have wifi connection. Once you send the email, you'll have a record of it in your Good "Sent" folder. 29

Features, con't Offline Documents: Emailing from "View Document" This will open the document on your screen. Tap on the icon to open the communications pop-up window. Select the Good icon to launch your Good email 30

Features, con't Pending Offline Orders To create an order when Offline Select Offline Documents from the left-hand menu Select item(s) and click Add to Pending Offline Order A name can be assigned to the order Items can be added to another existing pending order The order will now show in the Pending Offline Orders menu Helpful Tip: Pending Orders On your ipad home screen, your icon will show a notification if there are any pending offline orders, and how many.* *Once you have wifi connection, you will need to go to "Pending Offline Orders" and submit them for print / email. 31

Features, con't Synchronization When you regain wifi connectivity, you'll want to perform a synchronization to ensure that all offline content is up-to-date. There could be changes to the website. There may be back-end processing needs, like item updates. Documents could have been revised. By tapping the synchronize button, all items and screens will be synced and updated. 32

Website For Tablet and PC (desktop and laptop) Users Accessing the Wholesaler Mobile Catalog From non-ipad Devices https://www.nwlit.com/mmw Logging in is easy. Simply enter your Merrill username, and click "Next" Enter your Merrill password, and click "Login" You'll be taken directly to the web homepage. Your Merrill username and password are required for each session. Contact Us If you need assistance, we've made contacting us convenient. You can contact the help desk from the login screen by clicking Email to send an email or by calling 1-888-377-2929. Forgot Your Merrill Password? If you ve forgotten your password, at the homepage: Type in your username and click Next At the password screen, click on Forgot your password? Enter your Nationwide email address and select Reset Password A temporary password will be emailed to you. Upon first login with the temporary password, you'll be prompted to choose a new password. 34

Website, con't The Website Experience The website offers the same catalog items as the ipad app. The site behaves the same as outlined for the app, with the exception that you do not see "Offline Documents." FAQs Q: Do I have to open the Good for Enterprise app before I open Merrill, after initial set-up? A: No, there will be a prompt when logging into the app. Q: Do I have to download both apps, if I have a different email system on my ipad already? A: Yes.
