Capacity building for Incident Commanders and Emergency Managers Regional Training Course on Incident Command System for Disaster Management To enable practitioners to operate efficiently during an incident or event within the Incident Command System (ICS) To offer an in-depth knowledge on Incident Command System, describe the ICS organization appropriate to the complexity of the incident or event and use ICS to manage an incident or event efficiently. SAARC Regional Training Programme on Incident Command Systems for Disaster Management conducted by the SAARC Disaster Management Centre (SDMC), New Delhi in collaboration with USAID, USFS and ADPC in 2011 at Kathmandu, Nepal.

Program for Enhancement of Emergency Response (PEER) PEER in Asia (supported by USAID/OFDA) as part of its regional preparedness and mitigation strategy PEER Stage 1 (1998-2003) inducted four of highly seismic prone countries in Asia, namely, India, Indonesia, Nepal and the Philippines, managed by ADPC PEER Stage 2 (2003-2009), plus Pakistan & Bangladesh, managed by NSET, Nepal PEER Stage 3 (2009-2014), to further institutionalize the capacities of countries to implement a sustainable disaster response training program and to develop qualified instructors & monitoring in Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and Vietnam, managed by ADPC & NSET PEER Stage 3 Implemented in Pakistan

Strengthening Earthquake Resilience in Bangladesh (SERB) Program to assist the Government of Bangladesh to improve their earthquake response skills by building capacity of emergency response agencies. ADPC presents Hospital Risk Assessment results during high-level meeting in Bangladesh in May 2017 Study visit to build capacities of government officials from Bangladesh on hospital preparedness and response activities and observe related best practices in Nepal (2017)

Strengthening Earthquake Resilience in Bangladesh (SERB) Program To enhance the capacity of 16 public Comprehensive capacity building for emergency response: Hospital Preparedness, Risk Assessments, Simulations, Capacity-building for Urban Volunteers, and Provision of Essential Search and Rescue Materials hospitals in six earthquake-prone Districts in Bangladesh: Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Mymensingh, Tangail and Gazipur through national training on Hospital Preparedness for Emergencies (HOPE) and Training for Instructors (TFI). To conduct the hospital risk assessment from 2014 2017 and sharing of assessment results to concerned government agencies
