4 CDT s Objective and Approach Vision: Building resilient societies that are better equipped to withstand climate and disaster risks, and to protect people and our planet, must be a central component of all development. Objective: Address the drivers of climate change and disaster risks in order to protect the lives and livelihoods of communities and nations. Approach: Build on Linkages and synergies between climate change (CC), disaster risk reduction/recovery, and energy.
