Autmated text message appintment reminders. Turn n/enable via new applicatin preferences. Added SMS message templates and maintenance in cmmunicatin settings. Added ability t resend reminder messages via mdify barding, grming, scheduled services appintments, and grup training classes. Ability t resend any SMS message that was sent previusly. Autmated SMS Reminders: Yu can als set up autmated SMS reminder messages. Similar t the autmated PetExec emails, reminders messages can be custmized, enabled in applicatin preferences, and will then autmatically be sent t yur custmers. Step 1: Review and custmize the SMS default messages. Frm the Menu Cmpany Preferences Cmmunicatin Settings Mdify Email/SMS Templates: Versin 1.1 10/16/18 Page 7 f 15
Each SMS message has s default template. 1. Custmize further using the dynamic replace values at the tp f the page. In this example list f pets will display the wner s pets scheduled fr the barding appintment. 2. Since SMS is priced based n characters used and segments, the number f characters is limited t 300. A character cunt and segment cunt is als displayed real time. 3. Click mdify SMS cntent t see any changes reflected in the SMS Preview. Versin 1.1 10/16/18 Page 8 f 15
Step 2: Turn n r enable the autmatic SMS messages and determine the timing f the messages: 1. Click t select the message. When selected PetExec will autmatically send ut the reminder SMS. 2. Enter the number f days befre the appintment yu want the SMS t be sent. If selected and the value is left blank, the SMs will be send the day befre the appintment start date. 3. Click update preferences t save yur changes. SMS reminders are sent ut ne time per appintment. Yu cannt autmatically send multiple reminders fr the same appintment. SMS reminders can be resent frm the appintment screen using the Resend SMS Buttn. The snest an autmated SMS reminder can be sent is the day befre the scheduled appintment. SMS Lgs Managing yur SMS cnversatins and reminders: Frm the PetExec menu Cmpany Preferences Cmmunicatin Settings SMS Lgs (If yu dn t see this menu ptin yu will need t add the menu ptin t yur emplyee type). This menu ptin will display all SMS lgs fr yur business. 1. Enter search criteria. Can search by date, type ( and phne number. 2. Mnth t Date will shw the messaging charges t date fr the image and SMS messages. These charges are in additin t the $10 mnthly fee. 3. Green Status bar shws the results based n the search criteria. The message, segment, image cunts and price are based n the results f the search criteria displayed. 4. SMS lgs are displayed. Click n clumn headings t srt data. Outging messages are displayed as delivered. Incming messages are displayed as received. If a phne number is assciated with mre than ne wner it will be displayed as unknwn. 5.
