General Description Thank you for purchasing the time2 HSIP2 Rotating Surveillance Camera this device is a great way to monitor any part of your office, home or warehouse making sure all your valuables are safe and secure. Please keep this manual for future reference and ensure all safety instructions have been read carefully before using. Applications and their functions may vary by country and/or hardware specification. Important Safety Information Do not install the product outdoors or in any place where it may become wet. Do not install the product in any place that might be exposed to extreme heat or cold the camera should be kept out of direct sunlight. It is not permitted to open the product yourself or to have it opened, neither is it permitted to repair the product yourself or to have it repaired. This will void the warranty. Only use the original accessories from the manufacturer. Disconnect the device from all power sources before cleaning it. Use a clean, dry cloth to clean the product. Do not use any abrasive agents, corrosive cleaning products or any substances that contain bleach or solvents to clean the product. Disconnect the camera whenever the product will not be used for a long period of time. The camera is not able to view through glass. Keep this in mind when positioning it. 4

Screw the WiFi Antenna into the gold screw at the back of the camera. 2. Plug the power adapter into the port at the back of the camera. 3. Plug one end of the Network>Ethernet cable into camera and the other end into your Wireless Internet Router. It will take approximately 30 seconds for the camera to power up. 4. Once the power cable and Ethernet cable have been connected, the green LED light will come on. 8

Downloading the App ios Application In order to download the ios application, go to the Apple App Store on your iphone/ipad. Search time2 Surveillance Pro then download and install the App. Once the App has been installed onto your iphone/ipad, a shortcut icon will appear on your App list. Simply click to open. 9

Camera Setup In Order to setup your camera onto your iphone/ipad, click Add device on the App interface. The following screen will be displayed: You can set the camera up by either scanning the QR Code or Via the LAN Search. 10

LAN Search Click on this which will allow the iphone/ipad to search the WiFi network that it is connected to and detect any Cameras that are also connected the same Wifi network. The following screen will appear: Simply click onto the camera you would like to connect to, the camera details will automatically complete. Click Done in the top right corner and the camera will be ready to control. Or, Scan the QR Code Click on this and the applicatoin will use your phone to scan the code found at the bottom of the camera. Scanning the code will automatically complete the camera details. Click Done in the top right corner and the camera will be ready to control. Once you have successfully added the camera to your software it will appear online with an additional message Empty Password. 11

For extra security you will be required to change the Username and Password before you can access the camera. Click on the camera and the following will appear: Click OK and the application will take you through the User Setting section where you can change your Username and Password. 12

Once you have changed the details for the Administrator click Done in the top right corner. LEAVE THE OPERATOR BLANK/EMPTY. The camera will reboot and will re-establish a connection after a couple of minutes. Click on the camera and live feed will appear. Please note: You may find that once you have changed the Username and Password you see the following: 13

This is because the changes you have made for the security need to be improved further. We recommend using a selection of Uppercase and Lowercase Letters and Numbers to ensure you set a secure Username and Password. 14

Camera Controls Simply swipe in any direction to move the camera. Other actions available are below: 15

Settings To view the Settings, simply click on the settings icon on the device homepage. The following screen will appear: Please note when you apply any settings to the camera ensure it is only online on one device. Having the camera online on multiple devices whilst changing settings may cause complications. 16

Wi-Fi Setting Using this setting you can set the camera to function over your wireless network. Please note: When setting the camera up for the first time, it will need to be wired into the internet router first. Click Manage Wi-Fi network to search for networks your camera can connect to. Click on the network you would like the camera to connect to. Enter your network password then click Done in the top right-hand corner and remove the Ethernet Cable. The camera will automatically configure itself with the router. Once this is complete the camera will restart and the connection will be established. Please note: If the Camera says Disconnect once you have removed the Ethernet Cable, simply press the Refresh icon (found in the top left-hand corner) and the Camera will appear online. 17

Alarm Settings Using this setting you can set the camera to send you notifications once the motion and audio has been detected. 18

Motion Detection Ensure this is turned on to activate the motion detection. Whilst the camera is turned on if any movement is detected, the built-in motion detector will trigger an alarm. An alert will be sent to your phone. Motion Detection Sensitivity This can be used to adjust the sensitivity of the camera. Please note the lower the number the more sensitive the camera is. Audio Detection Ensure this is turned on to activate the audio detection. Whilst the camera is turned on if any sound is detected, the built-in sound detector will trigger an alarm. Audio Detection Sensitivity This can be used to adjust the sensitivity of the camera. Alarm preset position linkage Click the dropdown box and choose a preset position you would like the camera to move too once the motion is detected. Please note you will need to set a preset position for this setting to work. See preset position for more information. Alarm Mail Notification Ensure this is turned on to activate this feature which allows for an email notification to be sent as soon as the motion is triggered. Please note you will need to set this up for this to setting to work. See Email settings for more information. Upload pictures count Activate this feature to receive images once the motion detection alarm has been triggered. Alarm Video Ensure this is turned on for the camera to record a compressed video onto the Micro SD card once the alarm has been triggered. 19

Email Settings Using this setting you can setup your mailbox to receive email notifications when motion has been detected. Sender Enter your email address. SMTP Server Select the appropriate SMTP server according to your email address. SMTP Port This will automatically fill in once the server has been selected. Verifying Please ensure this is always ticked as some mail servers require authentication to receive emails. 20

SMTP User Please enter the SMTP user (in most cases it is the first part of your email address) SMTP Password Enter the password to your email address. Receiver 1 Enter the email address you would like the email notification to go to. Once the details have been entered correctly you will receive email notifications once the motion is detected. Please note: The camera needs to be connected to the internet at all times for this feature to work. If the SMTP server is not available from the dropdown box please enter the information required manually. Some email domains require a further setting to be activated to allow applications to interact with an email account. For further information please check the settings of your email domain. 21

SD Card Settings When first inserting an SD card, you will be required to format the SD card (simply click the format button). Once formatted, you will be able to select conditions such as Record audio or Timer recording etc. The PC software allows you to specify the times you would like the camera to start recording (see below). Once complete, click the Set button to save the changes. 22

Preset Positions You can preset up to 16 positions for the camera to rotate to using the application. Once set all you have to do is select the number and the camera will rotate to that position. Click on the camera to bring up the live feed. Rotate the camera to the position you would like for a preset to be created. Click the Preset position to bring up the following window. Click on Preset a set and choose any number displayed. This will preset that position to the number you chose. To move the camera to your preset positions click on Preset a call. Once you choose a number the camera will rotate to that preset position 23

User Setting The username and password for the Operator and Administrator can be set and changed by clicking on this tab. Device Time Setting Set the date and time according to your time zone or simply synchronise to your Mobile phone time. 24

Search time2 surveillance Pro then download and install the App. Once the App has been installed onto your Android device, a shortcut icon will appear on your App list. Simply click to open. 25

User Setting The username and password for the Operator and Administrator can be set and changed by clicking on this tab. Time Setting Set the date and time according to your time zone or simply synchronise to your Mobile phone time. 40

Installing the PC Software Visit the following webpage PC Setup https://www.time2technology.com/product-downloads/time2-hsip2- Wireless-Surveillance-Camera.html To download the IP Camera for PC software. (Click to download) During download, your Anti-Virus software may bring up an alert, please ignore it and continue to download the software. Once the software has downloaded, double click on the software icon to open. You will then be asked to choose a language. 41

Follow the onscreen instructions to finish the installation of the software (See below): 42

Please ensure the Create a desktop icon option is ticked (see below) so an icon can be created on your desktop for easy access to the software. Once the software has been successfully installed, double click the icon to launch. 43

Camera Setup Open the application as the administrator and the following screen will appear: By default, there is no password allocated to the camera. To log in, simply enter the username (found at the bottom of the camera) then click Login. 44

In order to set up the software, firstly, ensure the camera and computer are connected to the same Internet Router. Click the Plus icon on the top right hand corner of the screen. This will bring up another window, then click Search. This will bring up any cameras connected to that Internet Network. Simply double click on the camera you would like to setup. 45

This will bring up another window (see below). Check the settings then click OK to add the camera to the device list. Please note the initial log in details can be located at the bottom of the camera. In order to view the camera, simply put your mouse over the camera name and click and drag into one of the 4 black windows for the image to appear. Double click on this image to enlarge. 46

Main Features Click on the live feed to bring up the control bar for the camera. 47

To view the Settings, simply click on the settings icon next to the camera name. 49

WiFi Settings The wireless settings can be set and changed by clicking on this tab. Please note: When setting the camera up for the first time, it will need to be wired into the internet router first, before the wireless function is activated. Ensure there is a tick in the use WLAN. Click Search to search for existing wireless networks then select the network you would like to connect to. All the information will be automatically filled in except the password for your router. In the Encryption box enter your router password and click Set. Remove the Ethernet cable, and the camera will automatically configure itself with the router. Close down the window and you will see the camera come online using the wireless function. 50

Please note: If the Camera says Disconnect once you have removed the Ethernet Cable, simply press the Refresh icon (found in the top right-hand corner) and the Camera will appear online. Device Information This gives you all the information about the device, e.g. Firmware version, serial number, Alarm status etc. Date & Time Set the date and time according to your Time Zone or simply synchronise to your PC time. 51

User Settings The username and password for the visitor, operator and administrator can be set and changed by clicking on this tab. Alarm Settings The motion detection settings can be changed by clicking on this tab. 52

Motion Detect Armed Whilst the camera is on, if any movement is detected the built-in motion detector will trigger an alarm. Tick this option to activate this feature. The dropdown box next to this option is for the sensitivity of the motion detection. Please note the lower the number the more sensitive the camera motion detection will be. Alarm Audio Sensitivity Whilst the camera is on, if any sound is detected, this will also trigger the alarm. You are able to change the sensitivity of this feature according to your requirements. Alarm preset linkage Click the dropdown box and choose a preset position you would like the camera to move too once the motion is detected. Please note you will need to set a preset position for this setting to work. See preset position for more information. Alarm video record When the alarm has been triggered, a 30 a short compressed 30 second video will be recorded and saved onto the Micro SD card. Mail notification after alarm Activate this feature to receive an email notification as soon as the alarm has been triggered. You will be required to set up Email alerts for this to work. Ensure Upload image after alarm is ticked to receive images once the motion detection is triggered. This feature will only work once Email alerts have been set. Alarm armed time Activate this feature to schedule when the alarm setting is on. Alternatively, you could have the alarm setting on all the time. Once you have changed the settings to suit you click Set and the settings will be updated. 53

Email Settings This setting will set your email to receive email notifications when motion has been detected. Sender Enter your email address. SMTP server Select the appropriate SMTP server according to your email address. SMTP Port This will be automatically filled in once the server has been selected. Need verify Please ensure this is always ticked as some mails servers require authentication to receive emails. SMTP Details Please enter the correct SMTP Username (First part of your email address) and SMTP password (password used for the email address). 54

Receiver Finally enter the email addresses you would like the email notification to go to. Please note The camera needs to be connected to the internet at all times for this feature to work. If your email address provider is not available in the SMTP server settings you can still use your email address as long as you have the SMTP settings available. Some email domains require a further setting to be activated to allow applications to interact with an email account. For further information please check the settings of your email domain. SD Card Settings The PC software allows you to specify the times you would like the camera to start recording (see below). Once complete, click the Set button to save the changes. 55
