IBM License Metric Tool in version 9.0 was announced on 11 March 2014 ILMT 9.0 is a successor of ILMT 7.5 ILMT 9.0 serves for PVU and RVU calculation in sub-capacity licensing model ILMT 9.0 in comparison to version 7.5: New infrastructure vehicle used New approach taken towards audit reports Many implementation changes done Many functional improvemens introduced Many non-functional improvements added Many enhancements embraced ILMT 9.0 is dedicated for new users Upgrade from ILMT 7.5 will be available in future releases (if nothing changes: 4Q 2014) 5

11 ILMT 9.0 Overview Architecture Synchronization Relevant data is synchronized between IEM and ILMT databases once a day by default Synchronization process is commonly called ETL = Extract, Transform, and Load Using ILMT web ui, user can request the synchronization any time it is required This and other configuration options are available under Management: Data Imports panel ILMT frontend ILMT backend IEM backend 11
