Research statsscs released by Transport for London and FORS found that the majority of accidents involving HGV s and lorries occur when the vehicle turns lee, not seeing pedestrians and cyclists in their blind spots. Our audible and visual alarm has been designed specifically to prevent this issue. The TurnSafe system uses an audio speaker and high intensity flashing LED to alarm and warn the cyclists, even if they are listening to music or not looking at the vehicle. We ve recently launched a LED sign for cyclists at the back of a vehicle. Potennal collisions can be prevented by deteccng the cyclist before it s too late. To do this we use ultrasonic proximity sensors on the side of the vehicle which will detect any movement in close distance to the vehicle. Our TurnSafe range can be enhanced by adding vehicle blind spot cameras to cover danger areas not usually visible to the driver. VT IDent is a control system that uses programmable tags to authorise access to the vehicle or rear machinery using RFID - radio frequency idennficaaon. Control readers placed on the vehicle are programmed to respond to authorisaaon tags worn by the operaave - unique to their posiion. When presented by the user, the Ident system will allow access to the vehicle or machinery if you have the correct level of authorisaaon. VT Ident can prevent injury caused by the untrained and unauthorised use of dangerous on-board equipment, lowering the risk of unneccesary accidents.
