The purpose of this policy is to speed repair turnaround time and provide an important measure of repair price certainty to the market. This policy has served us well and will be continued. Since the release of the portable P models the service department has seen more backs come in with significant physical damage due to drops and falls. The reality is that these types of repairs are significantly more costly to perform. It is important to us that we retain the strengths that our published, flat rate pricing provides our Partners and end-users. Here you will find two example repair scenarios and how the repair cost is calculated. Use the front and rear diagrams shown above to familiarize yourself with the mechanical parts. Example A dropped P 30 which has damage to the plate around the LCD screen and buttons. Back works fine only userinterface is damaged. Add the User Interface (drawing reference D ) to service check repair cost of a P30.
