2 1 Overview FOSCAM provides ios APP for ios users, which helps to view and listen to your world anywhere... anytime. The following steps will show you how to setup APP and enjoy it. 2 Access the IP Camera Before adding cameras to the APP, Please setup the camera and ensure you can connect camera in LAN or WAN according to Quick Installation Guide. 3 Install APP Search and install Foscam ip cam viewer in the App Store. Then you will see the shortcut icon on the device screen. 4 Introduction to Ipcam Management Page Run the APP on your phone and go to ipcam Management page directly: Tel: Fax:

3 3 1 2 Section1 Camera list Here list all the cameras added to the APP. Section2 ipcam table/ add ipcam buttons : Tap this icon and back to ipcam table page, where you list all the cameras added to the APP. : Tap this icon and back to add ipcam page, where you can add cameras to the APP. Section3 Products display Here show the hot and new Foscam IP cameras. Tap here and link to Foscam website where will show you more imformation about Foscam products. 5 Add Cameras to APP Tap this icon to add cameras. There are 3 ways to add cameras to APP. Tel: Fax:

4 Tap this icon and go to add ipcam page. 5.1 Add Cameras in LAN Tap Search Button to scan all the cameras in LAN. Tap the icon on the right side of the camera you want to add, then enter the page shown below. Please input the User Name(admin by default), Password(no password by default) and Web Port(88 by default) in this page, then Tap ADD to login the camera. Then you can tap Back to back to add ipcam page to add more cameras. Tel: Fax:

5 5.2 Add Cameras by QR Code We recommend to connect cameras by QR code If your camera supports P2P. 1 Tap add button, 2 Here supports H264 or MJPEG. Tap H264 and enter the H264 device addition interface. Tap the arrow on the right of UID to scan QR code. Your phone will go into QR code scanning mode. 3 When finish the QR code scanning, the UID will be filled in automatically. input device name, user (admin by default), password(no password by default) and tap ADD. 4 So far, the camera has been added successfully and shown in the cameras list, which you can tap to view Tel: Fax:

Note: If the QR code scanning is failed, please input the UID on the bottom label of the camera manually. 5.3 Add Cameras Manually Go to ipcam management page and tap the Add Camera icon to add cameras manually. Choose and tap the camera type (MJPEG or H264), then you will see the interface shown below. MJPEG means the standard definition cameras of Foscam, H264 means the high definition cameras of Foscam. 7 V1.0 User Manual for ios APP UID: Here you can input UID If your camera supports P2P. Device name: Here you can input a device name to distinguish the cameras, which is effective only for your APP. Won t modify camera name of your IPC. User & Password: The camera s user name and password. IP: Here you can Input the camera s DDNS or IP address. Media / Web port: Foscam SD cameras and new HD cameras just have HTTP port, only FI9801W, FI9802W, FI9818W V1 and FI9821W V1 have Media port. Stream type: If your bandwidth is sufficient, you can choose main stream to view clearer video, if your bandwidth is limited, such as on 3G or LTE, you can choose sub stream to view more smooth video. Back & ADD: Tap Back to back the previous page. Tap ADD to add camera to APP. There are three ways to add cameras manually including P2P UID, DDNS and IP methods. We take H264 cameras for example in the following sections: UID If your camera supports P2P but fail to scan the QR code, we recommend you to input UID, Device name, User name (admin by default) and Password (no password by default). No need to enter media port. Then Tap ADD to access the camera. 1 DDNS Input Device name, DDNS, User name (admin by default) and Password (no password by default) and web port(88 by default). Then tap ADD to access the camera. Please ensure your camera can be connected by DDNS. Tel: Fax:

8 2 IP If the WAN IP of router is Static WAN IP. Input Device name, Static WAN IP, User name (admin by default) and Password (no password by default) and web port (88 by default). Then tap ADD to access the camera. 6 View and operate the camera Back to ipcam table page and you will see all the cameras added. There is a button updata., tap it to alter the camera s user name, password, media port and http port. Then tap If you want to delete the camera, please slide your finger cross the camera name from left to right and tap Delete button. Tap the camera botton to see the live video. Tel: Fax:

9 Section1 Live view window If the camera supports PT function, please slide on the screen with your finger, the camera will rotate following your finger direction. Section2 Snapshot/Audio/Talk buttons Audio Talk Snapshot Snapshot Tap it to snapshot. Audio button Tap it and then you will hear the sound captured by the camera s built-in or external microphone. Tap the icon again to stop Audio function. Talk button Tap it and then you can talk through microphone of your phone. Somebody nearby camera will hear your voice through the speaker of camera. Tap the icon again to stop Talk function. Section3 Back Button : Tap this icon and back to ipcam table page. Section4 Photo Button Tap this icon to check the photos captured. Tel: Fax:
