1 V How to access the camera using Camera Live 1. Overview Phylink Camera Live is a software which makes you find and view your camera from the Internet easily. It is also a tool that can search for your camera within your local network. You can further configure or view your camera via most popular web browsers such as FireFox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge (Windows 10), Chrome and Safari. Camera Live access the camera via pear to pear method. When you access the camera using Camera Live software on PC/Mac, there will establishing automatically a peer to peer connection. Through our P2P server, the camera can be accessed through the Internet without any complicated settings. You only need to type the UID/Password and the video can be displayed. P2P connection dose not require that the camera get a public IP address and port. It use to UDP hole Punching technology to through the router directly. No need to consider any complicated settings such as IP address, port forwarding and DDNS. Benefits of P2P based IP camera P2P server helps devices to find the camera. After the connection built-up between device and camera, then device will directly talk to camera and get the camera's live video, no external server. This allows for integration with other third-party software, which use the camera stream in programs like Blue Iris, ispy, Sighthound Video, Milestone XProtect Go and other leading software. There are cases when you might prefer to record video using a computer, for example if you have many cameras and want to display and record them all together as a group. Fortunately there are some really nice software packages that support our cameras. 2 2. Camera Live software installation Phylink Camera Live is provided on the included CD, or you can download it from our technical support website, for both the Windows and Mac OS. For setup on Windows, insert the provided installation CD into computer's CD-ROM drive and the installation window will appear. Click on the "Install Camera Live" button and follow the setup wizard to complete the software installation. Tips: If the Installation CD program does not start automatically open the CD-ROM drive and double click on"autorun". For Mac OS, please install the Camera Live for Mac from this Installation CD. Or download it from the Downloads section on our technical support website.

3 3. Add a camera to Camera Live STEP1 Start the Camera Live software and click plus icon to add a camera. Camera Multilive Video Album Setup A pop-up window will appear as below. Select the camera UID from the list and click. NOTICE If the camera is not located at the same local network as your computer, the Camera Live program is unable to find the camera using the discovery function. Thus you can manually type the camera s UID from the sticker on the camera cable to add a camera remotely. STEP2 Enter the User name: The default user name is admin. Enter the Password: The default password is admin. And then enter a name for your camera (call it whatever you want). Click when done. 4 STEP3 At the lower left corner of camera preview, there is a chain icon which used to indicate camera s connection status. CVZMNUX5A6T2K5VM8RE7 Camera This icon indicates that the camera is online and the connection is established. This icon indicates that the camera is disconnected. If the chain icon keep red when attempting to connect, please check the UID and password you typed. Both the default user name and password is admin, all are lowercase letters. Also check the camera s hardware connections according to the Hardware Installation chapter. Check whether you Internet connection is available. After a few minutes the red chain icon will turn green, which indicates that the camera is online and connection is established. If your settings are all correct you should now be viewing the live video from the camera. Click on play button or double click on the camera preview for live viewing. Muliti-viewing on one screen Click on "Muliti-Live" button from main toolbar, click selection icon up as below. then the Select Camera window will pop Select Camera Multilive Video Album Setup Home Office Bedroom School All cameras will be listed. Select the right cameras for Muliti-viewing on one screen. Click a camera preview to add it to the Muliti-viewing window, the camera preview will have a blue border. Clicking the camera preview again will remove the selection and the blue border will disappear. Once you have made your selection click on "" to save. If you wish to hear the sound from a camera, you just need to click the live viewing window of that camera. A blue border will highlight your selection. 6 4. Video Recording and Snapshot You can take snapshot or record the live video to your computer manually when you view the live video of camera using Camera Live software. Click on Recorded video icon from main toolbar, and select the camera from the list to enable view and playback of the recorded video on your computer. The recorded videos and snapshots will be saved to the "Camera Live" folder under My Documents. The default directory should be C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\Camera Live\Album. You can also specify a path by clicking the "Save Path" menu at the top right corner of main toolbar. Album Setup The recorded videos which are recorded by the Camera Live to your computer are the.mp4 format. And the snapshots are JPEG format. Tips: You don't need to use click-recording via Camera Live if you get a SD card in camera. The camera will record the files to the microsd card automatically or in accordance with your schedule. In that way, you don't need view the live video to record the videos manually. You can access or download the recorded files on microsd card via app on mobile phone or web browser on the computer easily.
