4 High speed, high sensitivity, speed dome camera: Siemens Day-Night Dome System CCDA1415-DN The newest addition to the Siemens dome camera range, the Day-Night CCDA1415-DN dome system consists of an "easy-fit" mounting base and housing/eyeball assembly attractively finished in black. It comes with a great number of features for all environments and brings a new dimension of functionality to the Siemens range. Utilising the latest generation of digital signal processing (DSP), it provides enhanced clarity, colour and detail. It even performs extremely well in areas where there is poor lighting. Direction indicators and area title naming also make life much easier for camera operators and ensure that they do not lose their orientation. Suitable for use either indoors or out, CCDA 1415-DN communicates with the dome controller over Siemens RS485 network. It is supported by a complete range of complementary accessories including several mounting options, one of which - the simple but innovative wall bracket - particularly makes fitting safer and easier for installers. With an infra-red (IR) cut filter, the cameras function like any other colour cameras in normal light with the IR filter ensuring colour fidelity. But when lighting levels fall, they automatically switch to monochrome operation delivering crisp, sharp black and white images. This makes 24 hour surveillance of unlit areas, a far more viable and practical option, particularly when used with discreet infra-red illuminators. Privacy Zones The CCDA1415-DN also has a 23x optical zoom (with electronic zoom providing selectable magnification up to 184x), continuous auto-focus and wide dynamic range. The wide dynamic range (WDR) setting balances the brightest and darkest areas of a scene to produce a more evenly exposed picture. And, because areas are neither harshly over-exposed or underexposed, this provides the operator with a clearer view of the scene. Privacy zones protecting PIN number and account information However, where operator viewing is not required - in areas such as changing rooms in a clothes shop, windows of buildings, or PIN numbers on a cash-machines etc. - the CCDA1415-DN allows the programming of up to 8 user-defined privacy zones. As the camera pans and tilts, a blanked area masks the zone on the operator's monitor and automatically adjusts in size as the camera zooms in and out so that the area is always hidden. Or your system does not require every camera to have the high level of performance offered by our CCDA1415-DN cameras? If so, two recent additions to the Siemens dome camera range can provide a cost-effective solution. The two CCDA1410 models deliver all the standard features of a dome but are priced comparably with basic PTZ cameras - and are easier to install. With less cabling and less hassle involved in the installation, a programmable CCDA1410 dome camera can actually work out less expensive than fitting three static cameras. The two models - an indoor dome (ID) and an outdoor, weatherproof dome (WD) - both feature a colour camera with 16x optical zoom and >450 TV lines, giving a quality, high-resolution picture. Designed for ease of installation, the pre-assembled CCDA1410 contains all the necessary 'install' components - and its power-on diagnostics and functional tests also assist with faultisolation during fitting and servicing. The CCDA1410 low-cost dome provides a new, open platform that allows for future advances in camera block technology. A non-slip, compact unit in a rectangular aluminium housing that sits on a desktop, the CKA4810 has an operator-friendly keyboard that can directly control up to 8 telemetry distributors. It has 31 keys (including numeric keypad and function keys) and a proportional variable speed joystick with twist zoom - giving full control over the cameras' pan/tilt facilities as well as all available exposure functions etc. Systems can start as a straightforward 1 camera, 1 monitor setup and progress to as many cameras and monitors as required using a Siemens matrix. And, simply by using a Siemens RS485 distributor, the number of telemetry devices controlled by a single keyboard can be increased to 80. When connecting to a Siemens matrix, multiplexer, a pan/tilt or dome camera system, this is via cable and setup is easy using the 2-line LCD display, the menus being presented in a multiple choice of languages. A 3-colour LED display indicates keyboard status including any diagnostic problems and a 2-level security PIN code limits access to Administrator and User.
