3 Hardware Packing List Getting Started This guide will help you install your TrueLook camera system. Installation includes four basic steps: Remove the packing materials which protected your camera during shipping. Power up your system to verify operation prior to installation. It is easier to troubleshoot any issues before the unit is installed at its final location. Mount and aim your camera system (and solar components, if included). Connect power. Once powered, you may log in to your camera at with your username Camera System and Enclosure (Fixed-Position or PTZ) Pole Mounting Bracket and Steel Straps Solar units will also include panel, battery, and battery housing. 4 Unboxing And Prep Mounting The Camera Your camera ships pre-configured and ready to go right out of the box. All TrueLook cameras include a pole mount bracket and steel straps. Remove any protective coverings from the enclosure exterior. If indicated on your unit, you may need to For Small Diameter Poles Begin by mounting this bracket. You may feed the straps through the front or side slots of the bracket, remove additional packaging from within the enclosure. Re-seal the enclosure, supply power to your camera, and you may test the camera s operation before its depending on your pole diameter. (See diagram) With your bracket aimed towards the center of your jobsite, tighten final installation. the straps securely. For Large Diameter Poles The included straps will fit poles from 3 to 15 in diameter. They utilize a worm-drive gear that can be tightened or loosened with a flathead screwdriver. 5 For Fixed-Position Cameras: For PTZ Cameras: Install the mounting arm to your bracket using the included bolts. Place two lower bolts into the mounting bracket as pictured. Attach the camera to the mounting arm using the included bolts. Slide the enclosure s lower keyhole slots onto these two bolts (green arrow). Aim your camera, then tighten all bolts. Install the upper two bolts with washers to secure the enclosure to the mount.
