Open Composer V Choose Local System. 3. Choose director, and then click Connect. Then main window shows up. 4. Click the Driver in the menu. 5. In the Items Panel, choose the Discovered Tab. 2. If you can find the camera in the discovered list. Please double-click the device. 3. The composer will automatically add the device into your project tree. 4. Click the IP camera in the project tree, the camera properties Panel shows up. 5. In the Authentication, please enable Required, and type the Username, click Set button, then type password, click Set. Figure 5. Discovered List

In the Items Panel, click Search tab. 3. Type Hikvision in the search input box 4. Double-click Hikvision IPC Camera for Static IPC Camera for fix camera or Hikvision IPC Camera for PTZ Camera for Speed dome. Composer will add the driver to your project. 5. Identify the driver by dragging and dropping the available device. 8. Then you can see the address in the IP Network Connection. 9. Or you can click the Identify button. Then enter the IP address for IP camera. Click Close button. 10. Then go back to System Design, click the IP camera in the project tree, the camera properties Panel shows up. 11. In the Authentication, please enable Required, and type the Username, click Set button, then type password, click Set.

For the substream, choose MJPEG for video encoding. 3. Go back to Control4 Composer. Double click the IP camera in the project tree. The IP Camera window shows up. 4. Choose the Image View to capture, Mjpeg or Snapshot. Then you can view the Camera. Note: If the video encoding in substream setting is not MJPEG, you cannot get the live view in the Control4.
