5 3 Telephones The following prices apply to telephones rented from Telecom. 3.1 Monthly Telephone Rental Charges: From 1 November 2001, new Rental Phones are no longer available. Customers who have a Rental Phone can continue to rent them and Telecom will continue to support them. Note: Customers renting other "feature" telephones from Telecom may pay different rentals. The appropriate trunk/extension line terminating circuit charge is to be charged on the electronic PABX. The above charges relate to the relay set only. Network related costs are listed in the Network Services charges. In cases where subscribers receive standby power from a common plant each subscriber shall pay 50% of the appropriate standby rental battery plant rental. For new installations the rental for standby batteries is as shown in the PABX tariff schedule. Special arrangements introduced locally for which a set 2 monthly rental is not available charge 6% of capital cost.
