1 Oaxis WatchPhone & Trackimo User Guide Add Device Singtel Connected Things mobile app allows you to add devices easily to your own profile or your dependents profile. This can be achieved by clicking on the Add Device button and following of the steps below. Step 1. Select your avatar on the map screen. Step 2. Tap. Step 3. Select the device that you ve purchased. Step 4. Follow the add device wizard stepby-step prompts. NOTE: Please make sure that your device is switched on and you are in an area with clear line of sight to the sky in order to get a good GPS location lock. 1

Sharing invite Step 1. Tap on the map screen. Step 2. Select Share link. Step 3. Select app to be used to share the invitation link. Step 4. Send the pre-formulated message. NOTE: The invitation link will expire after 2hrs and is only valid for one-time use. You will need to send one invitation for each friend you would like to invite to the circle. 2

3 Add Dependent User Dependent Users are sub-profile that you can create within the app. This is for the purpose of easy mapping of devices you ve added to the app to a person. Mapping of devices to a dependent is also necessary in order for friends and family members to communicate with the device (if the device has communication features). Manage Circle Settings Add Dependent User Step 1. Tap on the map screen. Step 2. Select Dependents. Step 3. Tap Add new dependent user. Step 4. Enter name, check privacy policy and T&C. Step 5. Tap Next. Step 6. Tap Sign Up. 3

4 Privacy Mode Singtel Connected Things app allows you to temporarily turn off the sharing of your location to all friends and family members. You can achieve this by following the steps below to go into privacy mode. Step 1. Tap on the map screen. Step 2. Tap on your name or Avatar. Step 3. Tap Privacy mode switch. Privacy mode switch NOTE: Turning on privacy mode does not affect the location sharing of your dependent s device. Updated location of your dependent will continue to be displayed to your friends and family members. 4

5 Location Sharing Permission Sharing of location information with individual can be controlled using the Manage function by following the steps below. Individual Setting Step 1. Tap on the map screen. Step 2. Tap on Manage function located on top right of the screen. Step 3. Tap Location sharing settings. Step 4. Select either: All Sharing to all None Sharing to nobody Custom Selectively turn sharing on and off for each member. 5

6 Important Notes 1. The Notification Screen of the app does not store all notifications in order not to clutter the view. Notifications from invitation, low battery alerts and members joining/leaving circles will not be stored in Notification Screen. Emergency Alerts will be stored but will be removed upon logout for security purposes. 2. Assigning the Oaxis WatchPhone to a dependent is required in order to send/receive text/voices messages between Singtel Connected Things app and Oaxis WatchPhone. 3. Locations displayed and reported by phone/devices are dependent on GPS lock and location data reported by the surrounding Wifi networks. There may be occasional location drift experienced given the crowded Wifi networks in Singapore. 4. Multiple geofence alerts or alerts that appeared out of sequence are common due to location drift or low accuracy GPS lock (due to limited line of sight to GPS satellites). 5. Unknown Location may be displayed for the user location as the display of address is dependent on geocoding responses received from geocoding service providers. 6. Refresh button on the map screen is dependent on the location reporting frequency of the device and may not always show the recent updated location. 6

To provide you with a richer visual and audio experience, the device will provide feedback via lights and sound.

7 Appendix Trackimo 3G GPS Tracker Overview Trackimo is a GPS tracking device that allows you to locate what matters to you the most your children, parents, grandparents, pets or belongings. In the event of an emergency, Trackimo is equipped with an SOS button that allows users to notify their loved ones. To provide you with a richer visual and audio experience, the device will provide feedback via lights and sound. The picture above illustrates where all the buttons and lights are located on the device, and the table below shows what these lights and sound indicate. 9 Set up your Trackimo To set up Trackimo, ensure the device is fully charged before activating. During activation, we recommend that you place your device in an open area with strong cellular service. Press the red button on the top of the device and hold for at least 5 seconds. Then wait at least 3 minutes for the device to set up a connection with Singtel network. Once you see a green light flashing on the front of the device, it is ready to be activated via the Singtel Connected Things app. GPS & GSM status The device contains a GPS receiver that gets signals from GPS satellites in the sky and computes the location based on the signals. The GPS receiver is not always turned on, in order to minimize battery usage. It is turned on every period of time, when the device is set on tracking mode from the application. The device also contains a GSM (cellular) processor, that receives and transmit cellular signals, and it transmits the location computed by the GPS to the main system. How can you know if the device is connected to the cellular network and has a GPS location? The two blue LED lights can show this, as follows: The two blue LED lights show the status of GPS and GSM reception. A short press on the power button shows the GSM and GPS status: GSM Network status: If the GSM network connected the left LED will turn on and stay steady stay on for 3 seconds. If the device did not get connected to the cellular network yet red light will blink slowly a few times. GPS status: If the device has a GPS location fix the right LED will stay on for 3 seconds. PLEASE NOTE: the GPS fix light is only turned on when the GPS is active. So it the device is set to periodic tracking mode, it will only show the right blue light at the sampling times, when it is actually turned on to seek GPS. If you don t see the blue light, it does not mean there is a GPS problem it just mean the device is not sampling at that exact minute. So if there are concerns about GPS location, it should be set to 1-minute tracking, and tested again when it is outside in clear view of the sky.
