2 The Program is a test preparation course that prepares participants to take the CIC Nationally Accredited Written and Practical Exams for Certification. It is an excellent program for all who rig under the direct oversight of seasoned rigging personnel. 3 Rigging Gear Inspection Rigging Gear Inspector Level I/II 3 Day Course Master Rigger Rigging Gear Inspector The Certified Rigging Gear Inspector Program is designed to build and enhance the skills of students to become qualified, in-house rigging gear inspectors. The program is based on the applicable OSHA and ASME removal criteria and includes classroom workshops and multiple hands-on inspection sessions. Participants who pass the written and hands-on inspections will receive a three year certification. Level I Level II Wire Rope and Wire Rope Slings On-the-job field inspections Synthetic Sling Products Certification achieved after completion of 10 hours of Chain Slings hands-on field inspections Rigging Hardware in each subject area. Below-the-Hook ing Devices Rigging Gear Inspector Level III 3 Day Course The participant must be a Level II certified inspector. The Level III program is designed for the person who considers themselves ready to prove capability and knowledge as an advanced inspector or instructor. The written exam will determine the participant s knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication techniques, ability to troubleshoot problems related to wire rope and rigging systems, and a comprehensive understanding of how the regulations and standards are practically applied to daily crane and rigging activities. A five year certification is issued upon successfully passing the program. 4 Planning Training Master Rigger These courses are designed to provide students with working knowledge of the five primary personnel assignments related to successful crane operations, as outlined in ASME B30.5, and prepares them to plan, design, and implement critical lifts. Rigging Gear Inspector /Site Supervisor 1 Day Course The /Site Supervisor course provides participants with the knowledge and skill to conduct crane and rigging operations following ASME B30.5. The program includes classroom workshops followed by hands-on activities. Site Preparation ASME B30.5 Responsibilities Traffic Control Hazard Recognition Load Chart Confirmation Multiple Crane s Responsibilities of Operator, ing Personnel Rigger, Signaler Critical Planning 2 Day Course Critical Planning is a very intense course that provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to properly develop and execute critical lift plans. Load Affirmation Crane Verification Rigging Confirmation Work Site Approval Pre- Checklist Load Schematic Rigging Method Load Travel Path Personnel Placement Load Handling Sequences and Procedures The /Site Supervisor and Critical Planning Courses complement each other and are typically scheduled consecutively over three days. Recently we were required to make a 3-crane pick on an ice breaker barge being built at our facility. This was a specialty lift that required several months of pre-planning including developing a critical lift plan and organizing pre-lift meetings with everyone involved. The lift was a great success! Our experienced crew has gained tremendous knowledge and skill by attending advanced training and hands-on activities provided by Industrial Training International. Mobile Crane Operator Initial 10 Day Course This program is designed for the person who has little or no experience with mobile crane operation.
