3 The Exam The FRM certification is a two-part exam of 4 hours each. The exam is sat twice a year in May and November. Part I consists of 100 multiple choice questions and is usually done in the morning (8am-12 noon) and Part II contains 80 multiple choice questions and usually done in the afternoon (2pm 6pm) of the same day. Study Material Study material is purchased through the GARP website at the following rates. FRM part I books $300 FRM part I e-books $250 Exam Payment Options Candidates can pay for their Exam registration via the following options: 1. Credit Card Online - GARP accepts MasterCard Visa, or Amex Check 2. Cheque - Must be a US bank cheque or a foreign check with a US intermediate bank Wire 3. Wire - Wire instructions can be found on the bottom of your invoice For any manual payments by cheque or wire there is a US$50 processing fee that will be added to your invoice. Be sure to include your GARP ID, a copy of your invoice, and your signature for approval.
