GAS COURSE LIST Get to Gas (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, HTR1 & CKR1) Our Get to Gas course (Pathway to Domestic Natural Gas), certified by Blueflame Certification, is for entrants who wish to become gas engineers, that have little or no experience in the industry. Candidates will complete theory and practical training and assessment with expert assessors. In-depth training and production of a 40-job portfolio will prepare candidates for completing their ACS Initial and becoming Gas Safe registered. ACS Initial (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, HTR1 & CKR1) The final step to becoming Gas Safe registered is the ACS Initial assessment covering five modules. Providing trainees can show evidence of previous experience and have a completed portfolio with photographic and witness declarations, they may sit the ACS Initial assessment. ACS Reassessment (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, HTR1 & CKR1) Every five years, gas engineers are required to renew their certificates by undertaking a reassessment. (Modules above only included if on previous certificates). 5 Weeks Days /3 Days ACS Appliances - Individual Modules (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 & MET1) 1-5 Days ACS Refresher Test (Pre-assessment training) Candidates will complete a test to identify the areas they need more training on, then we complete refresher training in those targeted areas.
