This is the most comprehensive training programme on playground hazard identification and risk management methods. Advanced reading and two days of training with site investigation will prepare you to sit for the CPSI examination, which takes place on the third day of the course. A pass in this examination entitles you to receive the CPSI certification. Besides, the half-day intensive review session provides better preparation to examination candidates for renewal or retesting for CPSI certification, to ensure that professionals are knowledgeable on the current standards and guidelines applicable to playground safety. Course Format Each course participant will receive a Course Manual at least 28 days prior to the course and Playground Safety is No Accident (5 th edition) will be delivered during the course. Participants are required to read and digest all material provided before the course begins. This is vital for success in the examination. The 2-day course includes lectures, facilitated discussions, applied exercises, site investigation and case studies. Course participants will learn how to identify hazards on public playgrounds and playground equipment, how to rank hazards according to injury potential and how to apply that knowledge and establish a playground safety programme. Finally, the 2-hour certification examination will be held after an extra self-study day for your well preparation.

2 Certificate On successfully passing the examination, you will be certified through the National Recreation and Park Association as a Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) for a three-year period. Certificates will be awarded and your name will be added to the national roster of CPSIs.
