CIS courses prepare students for entry-level positions in computer programming, systems analysis, computer operations and network management, information systems management, and sales and technical information positions. Santa Barbara City College s CIS Department offers comprehensive training in these program areas: 1. An occupational A.S. Degree, with a strong emphasis in both computer systems and business studies. 2. An occupational A.S. Degree, with a strong emphasis in system administration. 3. Create programs that reflect the use of modular design and incorporate event-driven and objectoriented approaches. 2.
