6 Why is this important for 5G? (from 3GPP)

7 5G Requirements Latency is required to be 1ms, with the requirement coming from traffic safety e.g. collision avoidance of self-driving cars. Mobility is required to be 500 km/h to be applicable for magnetic levitation trains. Area Traffic Capacity is required to be a 100 times better than IMT-Advanced, driven by infotainment applications in shopping malls and stadiums.
