15 The demand For Self-organization Whereas traditional operating systems came in the past more or less as self-contained/selfsufficient bundles (core system, devices, drivers, user interface), the landscape is much more dynamic today. The boundaries of central processing unit and periphery are becoming blurred. The domain of Industrie 4.0 and Industrial Internet can better be described as a confederation of connected devices instead of a centrally managed operating system. The main difference with respect to traditional operating systems is an increased dynamic regarding resource, interface and service management. Although the undirected evolution of Internet technology will continue to provide the basis for sufficiently appealing M2M/IoT applications, a reliable and secure Industrial Internet is becoming an urgent need. public 10/18/
