3 Side 2 af 20 XVR optager med 8 kanaler (1080N) This unit should be placed where there is good ventilation. Do not block the side panels of the unit. Avoid heat. Horizontal mounting is recommended. Avoid contact to water and avoid wet or damp places. Avoid stacking. 1. Indicator lamps

5 Side 4 af Hard drive Installation A. Remove 4 screws from the bottom plate: B. Turn the unit over and remove the lid: ❶ Power cable to hard drive. ❷ Data cable to hard drive. ❸ Mounting holes for the hard drive

6 Side 5 af 20 C. Place the hard drive and align the screwholes on the hard drive with the holes on the bottom plate. Tighten the screws to the hard drive. D. Attach the cables to the hard drive. E. Attach the lid with the 4 screws. See Fig 3A.

21 Side 20 af Troubleshooting A. XVR will not start: 1) Check that the power adapter is connected and voltage applied. 2) If the indicator lamp is lit, Check the monitor cables and that the monitor is powered on. B. XVR restarts automatically: 1) Voltage is too low or power adapter is overloaded 2) Hard drive is defective or hard drive cables are damaged or shorted. 3) Bad ventilation or high temperature. 4) Hardware failure. C. No video: 1) Check power cable to camera for damage. 2) Check video coaxial cable and connector for damage. 3) Check monitor contrast and brightness. D. No remote access: 1) Check network connection. Check for LED light activity at the rear of the unit. Use ping command from a PC to the units IP address to check for network connection. 2) If ActiveX is blocked on the pc, it must be installed manually.
