2 Description The (8-variable PROFIBUS-PA Remote Indicator) works with any PROFIBUS-DP class 1 master and is ideal for applications with any PROFIBUS-PA device. The is fully included on the SYSTEM302 and can be easily integrated to other PROFIBUS-PA-supported systems. The allows easy integration between devices without LCD display and facilitates field monitoring of devices far or difficult access from user reach. Via cyclical communication with any PROFIBUS-DP master, it allows up to 8 cyclical variables of the same device or 8 different devices to be monitored and switched on the LCD display. It eliminates, for example, the need for the user to inspect the device personally on the field, in case he wants to check its condition, or to do it on a tank upper level. Moreover, the being installed in a safe site prevents the user to go into a hazardous area. Easy to Install The is distributed on the Field through the PROFIBUS-PA bus. It facilitates the user to monitor variables on easy-access spots, to visualize other devices on its LCD display, without moving to the location where the devices is installed, or even go into difficult-access or hazardous sites. Function Blocks The has 8 PROFIBUS-PA Analog Output blocks. The PROFIBUS Function Blocks homogenize the system, in such a way that makes the devices simple and easier to the user. has 8 AO output blocks that receive the 8 variables+status via SetPoint (SP) that will be displayed on the LCD. The following status are displayed: UNC (uncertain, when the status is on the 0x40 to 0x7f range) and BAD (when the status is on the 0x00 to0x3f range). When the value is GOOD (higher and equal to 0x80) no message is displayed. 2

The following status are displayed: UNC (uncertain, when the status is on the 0x40 to 0x7f range) and BAD (when the status is on the 0x00 to0x3f range).
