1 A ONLY SOME MODULES LIGHT UP B PANEL DOES NOT LIGHT UP Only some modules light up Panel does not light up Check jumpers and power wiring AC Power present at Power Supply input terminals? Check AC Line circuit, Switches, Plugs, Fuses, Etc. 24 Volts DC present at DC Power Supply Output terminals? Disconnect DC output side wiring Test for DC output 24 Volts output Replace Power Supply 24 volts present on module power input terminals? Check wiring to Sensacell array for open circuit Output OK Array wiring has short circuit Is Voltage Polarity correct? Reverse Polarity Modules damaged, Replace

MASTER, or more than one Make Only ONE module a master by installing shunt jumpers START UP SEQUENCE, one MASTER Auto-Address FAIL Lights make YELLOW Outline Lights change to GREEN OUTLINE around outside edge of modules GREEN lines display inside perimeter of array? 4 Array Power wiring has short circuit D ARRAY POWER WIRING SHORT CIRCUIT Check power input connections at rear of modules for reverse polarity Module found with polarity reversed? Fix polarity Array still short circuit? Divide array into two isolated sections, main with MASTER, and SECONDARY Problem solved Is short still present in Master section? Short circuit is in SECONDARY section Add back 50% of secondary section Divide MASTER sectionintwo, eliminating 50% of modules and jumpers MASTER section shorted? Add 50% of remaining SECONDARY modules back Remove 50% of the modules just added back Shorted component identified? Replace sorted jumper or module Problem solved

5 Array fails auto addressing startup sequence on power-up E ARRAY FAILS AUTO ADDRESSING START UP SEQUENCE ON POWER-UP Is SensaSynth program running? Close program and restart array Disconnect all external data cables from array Does array startup correctly? Check / Replace cables and connected devices Divide modules 50/ 50 into two isolated sections, MASTER and SECONDARY Does MASTER section startup correctly? Problem is in SECONDARY modules / Jumpers Add back 50% of Secondary section Divide master sectionintwo, eliminating50% of modules and jumpers Add back 50% of remaining secondary modules and jumpers Does MASTER section startup correctly? Remove 50% of modules added back Replace problem module or jumper Problem module or jumper identified?

6 F ARRAY POWER DISTRIBUTION DESIGN W RGB Array power distribution design How many modules? More than 250 Modules? Multi-Zone system is required Calculate peak power required (Number of modules * 5.5 Watts) More than 500 Watts? Single circuit with #12AWG (2mm diameter) wire can be used for DC 24 volt connections Use multiple #12 (2mm diameter) wire harness to supply power to array, 1 harness per 500 watts, keeping current below 20 A per harness. Keep harness wire length and gauge equal to balance current flow. Select power supply derate power supply 25% (Required power *1.25) Determine number of array connection points (number of modules / 9) Choose array connection points - distribute the points evenly over the array Install jumpers between all adjacent modules Connect metal / conductive housing to Sensacell GND terminal Array housed in metallic / conductive enclosure? Done

7 Sensors are behaving erratically G SENSORS ARE BEHAVING ERRATICALLY Page 1 Are there Known Good presets installed in the array? Perform Restore Factory Defaults using Sensasynth2 Does the erratic operation occur without touching or interacting with array? Problem is Mechanical in nature Problemisinone sensor only? Bad Module- Replace Are modules mounted rigidly so that nothing moves during interaction? Mount modules more rigidly Problem is Electrical in nature Isthisthe first time testing the array? Is the array mounted in a metallic frame, or near large metal objects? Ground the frame to the negative terminal of the DC power supply Does the surface material move relative to the modules when mechanical load is applied? Mount surface material in contact with modules to prevent relative movement Move transmitter away from array Radio transmitters in use close to the array? Is the array mounted next to another Sensacell array? Connect the arrays together using isolation jumpers to synchronize them Reduce sensitivity setting CONTINUE ON NEXT PAGE

Separate the array from the source of interference Can problem be resolved using lower sensor sensitivity setting? Use lower sensitivity setting Is erratic operation just around the edges?
