2 Stanza Drives are available for control of Draperies and Roller Shades. Stanza Shades and Drapes can be controlled as part of a Stanza Integrated System, incorporating Stanza lighting controls, or as a Stanza Standalone System, without lighting controls. This Stanza Wiring and Programming Guide describes how to set up Stanza shades and drapes in both applications. Both the Stanza Integrated System and Stanza Standalone System utilize the same Contact Closure Drive to motorize the shade or drape. The Drives are powered from a power supply and can be controlled via two contact closure inputs, one for open and one for close. Drives that are part of the Stanza Integrated System receive these contact closures from a Stanza Contact Closure Interface, SZ-IO. Drives that are part of a Stanza Standalone System receive these contact closures from a Stanza Standalone keypad. Two types of keypads are available: one for a single Shade or Drape application and one for a dual Shade or Drape application. The Shade or Drape can also be operated via an infrared Hand-Held Remote Control. These can be used in either a Stanza Integrated System or Stanza Standalone System. Each Drive that is being controlled, must have its own IR receiver. Two types of IR Remotes are available: one for a single Group application and one for a Two Group application. The IR remotes can move the Shade or Drape to the open and close limit. They also provide the additional functions of storing and recalling a favorite preset, and setting open and close limits remotely. Page 1
