You have purchased a product which will suit the most demanding applications and fulfills or exceeds all the specifications listed. Made in Germany Typ: / ,25 bar DC V ma F.-Nr.: (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (1) Type code (4) Supply voltage (2) Range (5) Serial number (3) Output 3 Conditions of use - It is essential to ground the level probe and protect it against electrical discharge (lightning protection)! - The temperature of the medium must lie within the range -20 to +60 C (do not allow the level probe to freeze in the medium). - Like all sensitive measuring devices, the level probe should not be exposed to excessive temperature variations. These will eventually lead to changes in zero and span. - Do not exceed the pressure range or the permissible overpressure. - Under no circumstances must the front-flush diaphragm be touched with pointed objects. - Do not direct a pressure jet onto the diaphragm. - The use of the process connection closed below (658) is recommended for liquids contaminated by coarse particles.

4 4 Safety notes Caution Please observe the relevant regulations when handling potentially harmful media (e.g. flammable and toxic substances). If these regulations are disregarded, this may result in injury to persons or damage to equipment. Only personnel with the appropriate qualifications should be allowed to work on or with this instrument. 5 Electrical connection Caution The level probe may only be connected by suitably qualified personnel. 6 Mounting the attached connecting cable Note - Minimum bending radius 120 mm (fixed installation). - The cable must not be compressed. The end of the cable must terminate in a dry space, to prevent the formation of condensation. It is advantageous to run the cable directly into the connection space (switchgear cabinet). - When lengthening the cable, make sure that pressure equilibration is provided, while avoiding the ingress of moisture.
