8 7 Device Characteristics 7.1 Display Data The display data connection is implemented as LVDS interface 18 bit, 24 bit or 30 bit per pixel Conventional or non-conventional data mapping Single channel or dual channel configuration Supports up to 165MHz pixel clock (suitable for up to 60Hz) The display interface has 4 option pins controlled and sequenced by firmware with 0V/3.3V/5V level. Display power supply level (can be configured by firmware modification): +3.3V +5.0V +12.0V 7.2 Backlight Power Supply and Control The backlight power and control port directly connects to a DC-AC inverter / LED power supply for the display backlight. Additional control lines for switching the backlight on/off and to regulate the display brightness are available. Features: up to 12V up to 5V (depends on overall load of 5V rail (USB, BKL, Audio ), max 2.5A allowed. Brightness DC control voltage in the range of 0 to 5V (actual range can be configured by firmware modification) Brightness PWM control with 3.3V or 5V level with 0 100% duty cycle, frequency 100 Hz 20 khz Backlight On/Off voltage signal with 0V/3.3V/5V (configured by firmware) 7.3 Video Signal Ports For external Video Sources following standard interfaces are supported: HDMI Page 8 of 24

21 9.1 Power Supply Unit (PSU) Remote Control Feature ArtistaMEDIA-II supports Power Supply Unit remote control. This allows ArtistaMEDIA-II firmware to shut down Display and / or inverter power supply if ArtistaMEDIA-II goes in standby mode.
