1 December 3, 2014 RE: Changes to SE-330 Series Neutral-Grounding-Resistor Monitors Dear Valued Customer, This letter is an update to the PCN (March 31, 2014) for the SE-330, SE-330HV, and SE-330AU Series NGR Monitors. New revisions of each series include: 100-event data log with time-and-date stamp, replacing 10-event non-time-stamped data logger A mini-usb interface replacing the existing RS-232 DB9 serial-communications interface A microsd TM card slot to increase data-storage and firmware-update capabilities A microsd card is included Programmable ground-fault pickup setting to extend the previous setting range Selectable fail-safe or non-fail-safe indication-relay operating modes New Ethernet communication options: IEC protocol support (substation communication protocol) Dual ports with two IP addresses Wired or fiber connections SE-330-SMA Surface-Mount Adapter will be an ordering option, no longer included with the SE-330 and SE-330HV Series (SE-330AU models did not include the adapter) The new SE-330 faceplate is shown in Fig. 1 and ordering information is shown in Fig. 2. All Profibus models will be discontinued when component inventory is depleted, with an expected September 2016 obsolescence date. See Table 4. All order options include CE and C-Tick certifications.
