CORE TECHNOLOGY Flowline s core technology is non-contact ultrasonic level measurement. This highly versatile and reliable technology is ideal for a wide range of liquid applications including those with chemicals, oil, water and wastewater. The sensor emits four high frequency sound pulses per second from the base of the transducer. Each pulse travels through the air gap, reflects off the liquid surface and returns to the transducer where its received. The temperature compensated sensor calculates the time interval from pulse transmission to receipt, and translates this into a distance measurement based upon the speed of sound. Non-contact ultrasonic level technology functions well in harsh environments, requires little or no maintenance and provides better reliability and accuracy then contact level devices which often suffer from prolonged liquid contact. 6 Introduction What s New EchoPod - 14, 15 CHEMICAL FEED LEVEL CONTROL & MEASUREMENT Chemical feed and small tank systems use float or conductance level switches that fail due to contact with corrosive or sticky liquids. The associated maintenance, replacement and downtime costs are many times higher than the switch cost. You requested a cost-effective, small sensor for drum, IBC and OEM skid tank level automation. EchoPod is a non-contact level switch, control and measurement solution designed to replace multi-point float switches in small tank chemical feed or skid applications. The multi-function sensor has four relays with embedded logic for pump and valve control. EchoPod is loop powered with a 4-20 ma measurement output. 7 What s New Introduction MULTI-CHANNEL PROGRAM RELAY CONTROL Bulk storage tanks, day tanks, chemical feed tanks and lift stations are often located together to reduce installation and control costs. You requested a multi-channel programmable logic relay controller with a bright graphic display, advanced relay control functions and data-logging that can be configured for up to 4 tanks within a distributed control system. The Commander programmable logic relay controller has 4 analog input channels and 6 programmable relays for multi-tank level applications. The DIN controller features a backlit LCD graphic display, push button configuration, data-logging with removable MicroSD card and a wide array of pump and valve control functions. Commander - 33 WASTE SUMP & DAY TANK LEVEL CONTROL Industrial waste sumps and chemical day tanks contain coating or corrosive liquids that often cause contact sensors to fail. These applications also require pump or valve control for automatic fill or empty. You requested a non-contact level controller with integral display and push button configuration that s easy to use.
