It allows a user to examine the EDID that is automatically captured from displays connected to the CrossPoint matrix switcher or receivers, to determine a display s native or optimal resolution, refresh rate, and color space, as well as audio format compatibility. The user can then assign this EDID to any local or remote input device connected to the system.
