5 Keypad KP 100 Is a light, handy unit with 4 key operation and with a 140 segment display or alphanumeric characters and symbols. The KP 100 is used or setting up the requency inverter to the required drive tasks and or displaying the drive parameters. BASIC FUNCTIONS Depending on the requirements you have to incorporate various eatures in your drives. The range o requency inverters oers you a selection o basic unctions which can be activated time and/or event related. Application unctions give you pushbutton control or a variety o preconigurated unction sequences or liting drives, winding drives, pressure control etc. Adaptation or analogue inputs and outputs or range adjustment to peripheral control elements. 6 Four dierent data sets i the operating modes change. Torque boost enables your drive also or high starting torque. Synchronisation to a rotating motor enables starting at any operation point. Controlled braking i you need very ast shutdown without mains unit or brake unit, you can use the voltage control and the motor chopper. Motor potentiometer unction i you wish to set the speed through a contact input. Technology controller i you like to carry out or example pressure, volume low or speed regulation with the integrated PI controller. Programmable starting and stopping behaviour so that the drive can be saely started and stopped and can also be controlled at a standstill according to the application. S ramp proile i your drive has to make a smooth transition rom one speed to another. Power ailure regulation can be activated using kinetic energies to maintain operation during short blackouts o the mains. Parameter identiication i you wish to start your drive with menu guidance.
