3 How to Turn On /Off the LED Connect the power chord of the LED with Rack PDU socket Press the ON/OFF button available on the right side of LG LED to turn on the LED. After this you can also use remote control to temporary turn on/off the LED using On/Off button on top of the remote. Press the ON/OFF button again if you want to turn off the LED How to initiate Video-Conferencing

4 MONITOR AND POWER ON VIA MAIN SOURCE Before initiating the conference it is mandatory to check the power source for codec & it is connected with power backup source like UPS Please check the power cord of the codec unit is connected properly with rack power socket. Check that the rack power is connected properly with main power source like UPS LED power chord is connected properly at both ends. LED power switch is set to ON. Codec Unit LED is ON. If the LED is blinking then press the start button on the remote control unit. Codec unit output is properly connected to the LED input. HDMI/DVI cable is connected properly at both ends. ACCESSING THE MAIN MENU Turn on the LED. Please make sure the XT1000 Remote control unit has batteries installed. Please verify that the small LED s on the front panel of the XT 1000 codec unit is blinking. Turn on the XT 1000 codec unit by pressing the start button remote control unit. MAKE A VIDEO CALL DAILING A NEW NUMBER Firstly you verify that your necessary need is ready such as: - IP Address, number to call, lighting, Microphone On. Check that HD Camera is connected or not. When HD camera is connected you have to see your own video in the LED. Make sure all units are switched off while the system is connecting or disconnecting.

5 Place the XT 1000 Digital microphone Array pod on the table in front of the peoples. Do not place papers or other objects in front of the microphone. Do not rustle papers or tap on the conference table while using the microphone. Mute the microphone pod when it is not in use/before moving it. Speak it normal voice & clearly (No noise/ disturbance even pin drop silence is required while attending the VC) ANSWERING A VIDEO CALL When receive a call, the Scopia XT 1000 reacts with a ringing sound and a message on the screen with the calling number/name. If you set your system to automatic answering the terminal will answer the predefined number of rings. In automatic or manual answering, during the ringing you may answer by pressing green call type button in the remote control unit. To reject the call, press red call reject button. If you set your system to manual answering, you can either accept or reject the incoming call. To accept the call, press red button (Accept) on the XT 1000 remote control unit. To reject the call, press yellow color button (Reject) on the XT 1000 remote control unit. To reject the call and set the system to automatically reject all further incoming calls without asking any more press blur color do not disturb button. CONTROLLING THE CAMERA Control the local video camera zoom and panning functions and also those of the remote locations camera by pressing far & near button in your codec remote control. You can control the remote camera when the connection in the remote terminal is established and the remote camera is configured to be remotely managed. You can use arrow key to move the camera when the graphic menu is hidden. When the menu is visible you can move the camera by using the menu command scroll to camera by using the arrow key and select the moving camera key. Select Stop button for stop the moving camera. PROCEDURES:- STEP 1:- While in a call press C button to hide the graphics in the main menu page. STEP 2:- Use the arrow key to move the selected camera to the preferred position. STEP 3:- Press Zoom In or Zoom Out button. STEP4:- Move the camera as desired and set as the desired position. STEP5:-Do not move camera again & again.

6 INITIATING THE MULTI CONFERENCE To host a multi-conference with more than 2 participants with the MCU calling (Multi conference unit) Call the first participant as explained in making a Video call. Call the other participants by pressing the green call button on the XT 1000 remote control unit, answering the call or adding the site. Repeat same procedure to the number of participants allowed in your system. Press the manage conference button to enter the menu allowing to manage the multi conference. SHUT DOWN THE VC EQUIPMENT Press the on/off button available on the Radvision remote to shut down the VC equipment. How to operate VoIP PHONE First connect the power adapter of the VOIP phone with the Rack PDU socket then will be automatically turn on. Now dial the unique dialing number of the destination location where you want to talk (directory of the no s to be shared after installation of VOIP phone.)

7 How to operate the UPS PROCEDURE First connect the power cord of UPS with the RAW power socket (power input) and further connect the RACK power chord with the UPS. Now the display of UPS shows the front screen menu. Press the green button twice and it will show configuration on the display screen of the UPS. Now UPS is turned on and ready to supply the constant power supply To shut down the UPS, press the red button up to 5-6 seconds to turn off the UPS. NOTE: - Don t turn off the ups as it should be charged with the RAW power 24x7. It will also help to maintain the batteries life.
